Nigerian Cuisine By MJ — Restaurant in Paradise

My girlfriend and I were really looking forward to eating good Nigerian food on our trip to LV. I searched online and found this place. Website says it’s open at 11:30am. We checked out of our hotel earlier so we could eat lunch before heading back to CA. I called to make sure they were open. Chef/owner told me he will be there in an hour. And this is 12pm already. That should have been a red flag for me. But I guess I really wanted to impress my lady with some good Nigerian food. We waited for an hour. Called again and said he was 5 mins away. He didn’t show up till 2:35pm. By this time we were starving like hell. He should up and have to literally go back out to buy groceries to prepare our orders. I was shocked. Food was not very good. Had I known that was the quality of food we would have not definitely wasted 3 hours. Food was wasn’t worth waiting a minute for , never mind 3 hours.

There was no hand soap or sanitizer in the bathroom. It’s a restaurant. No soap in the bathroom. Meaning chef doesn’t wash his hand after using the bathroom while cooking for public consumption? Come on. We are not in Nigeria here. I thought I was going to throw up after seeing there was no soap in the bathroom. He acted nonchalant when I told him there was no soap in the bathroom. I could tell he didn’t care or didn’t think it was a big deal. Seriously, this guy came out eating between bringing my lady’s order and my order. So unprofessional. I should have taken my lady to Calabash. Wanted to support another Nigerian. ...

If I can give them minus zero stars I will..I placed an order online to be delivered. Order taken, payment made..only for the delivery guy to get there, no food, no response, called several times, no response..voice mail box full...

Beyond disappointed..beware and don't order from here if u don't want to be scammed

Update: Apology accepted..please do better next time as a business. Atleast clear your voicemail to give some kind of peace of mind..Also, there has not been any refund seen , so yeah, my natural reaction was that the restaurant is a scam if there was...
