We love Del Taco but this is the worst experience we have ever had at a Del Taco. We went to this location on 12/21/2020 and this was very disappointing b/c we do not have one where we leave out east so we always go to one when we come out west. We went through the drive-thru and ordered 3 value soft tacos with no lettuce then stated only meat and cheese. We also ordered a bean burrito with red sauce. She repeated this order to us correctly. When we get to the window then the cashier was not wearing her mask properly, we asked her to add a bean burrito with red sauce, paid for the meal then rec'd our receipt which stated 3 value soft tacos OTS lettuce which we are not sure what OTS means and 2 bean burritos with green sauce. We tell her that we asked for red sauce on the burritos but the receipt says green. She took the order back to be redone. We check it as we are pulling out of the drive-thru in which the tacos have lettuce and I could not tell if the burritos were correct or not. My husband goes inside to get it corrected and no one helps him when he walks in. The guy cleaning the tables finally comes and helps him in which he told the cooks it was incorrect and we thought they fixed it. We check it when he got back into the car in which we find bean tacos with a white sauce that looks like sour cream, no meat and cheese. Not even close to what we ordered. He goes back in there and is really upset. He says this isn't what we ordered and we certainly didn't order sour cream in which the lady making the tacos states it's not sour cream, it's secret sauce. Still not what we ordered. They remake them and they are finally correct. The guy cleaning the tables stood over her and made sure she made them correctly this time. He was the only helpful one. I start to eat my bean burritos in which they have no sauce on them and were nasty. We were so disappointed because we look forward to getting Del Taco whenever we are near one and this was disgusting. It was a horrible experience. I did a survey on 12/23/2020 and emailed on 12/29/2020 but never rec'd a response so I'm posting a review here. I couldn't give negative stars or...

You ever find yourself somewhere between the end of a long drive and the beginning of a poor decision? That’s where Del Taco lives. Somewhere off the beaten path of fine dining and food trucks selling purpose, nestled in a parking lot that smells vaguely of transmission fluid and hot sauce. And somehow, it works.
I ordered the chicken soft tacos and the green burritos with extra cheese. Yeah—extra cheese. Because I wasn’t there to diet. I was there to taste something that made no apologies. The tacos? Pillowy tortillas cradling surprisingly juicy chicken, a little creamy, a little peppery, and gone in three shameful bites. The green burritos? A glorious, molten mess of cheese and tangy sauce that didn’t just hit the spot—it staked a flag in it and claimed it in the name of guilty pleasure.
The service was fast. No corporate-smile nonsense, just get-your-food-and-go efficiency. The food was fresh. Not Michelin-star fresh, but real enough to make you raise an eyebrow and say, “Damn, that’s actually pretty good.” And the price? Practically criminal for what you get. It’s the kind of meal you eat in your car, alone, with the radio down and your windows fogged—and feel zero regret.
Del Taco doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not. It’s cheap. It’s dirty. And...
Read moreDon't order delivery from them. They use Door Dash, and after the FIFTH time Door Dash reported food as delivered when it was not (meaning the Dasher stole the food and reported it as delivered - twice from Checkers/Rally's and third time from Del Taco) I am taking the time to write about it.
As great tasting as Del Taco is, anyone who enables Door Dash to STEAL FOOD is guilty of being an accomplice to the crimes.
Called and the manager said it wasn't her problem, can't help, talk to corporate. So yeah, worst fast food service ever. I'm also hungry, as I've been waiting almost an hour for food I paid for. I will have to contact my bank to cancel payment. Since it's such a small amount, though, no one will care about this CRIME.
If this Del Taco reports that they have ceased enabling DoorDash, and I confirm it, I will change my review. I mean, the end result is I will get my money back for the theft, the Dasher (Lanorra) gets to eat my dinner and enjoy the tip I left, and Del Taco will be out the food it gave away and the tip amount, because I paid Del Taco on their app.
Of course, if this Del Taco reports that they ceased using DoorDash and I order again and they use DoorDash again, I will double down on my negative review and #boycottdoordash will be joined by...
