I would have straight up given this spot 5 stars if the price of their pho was in the realm of reality. Luckily, I have another pho place and I was here fo the Banh Mi, which was excellent. Since I mentioned the pho, I'll start with it and then get on to the stuff I'll be back for. It was actually not bad at all. Probably better than average for the city but I'm from Seattle and have been eating this stuff for 20 years, When I left in 2019, I could get a half gallon of Pho Thai for $6.75. I took that all for granted because it took me over 5 years to find consistently good pho in LV and the prices are all closer to $15 for a smaller bowl than I used to pay $6.75 for. I understand that the economy is different now but my sister in law was complaining 16 years ago that it was closer to $12 in London where she was attending school & that was crazy high. To pay nearly $19 for a bowl half the size of my favorite spot back in Seattle isn't going to work for me. Additionally, in my 20+ years of pho consumption, this was the first place that put the sprouts and basil in the bowl for me rather than allowing me to adjust my flavor to my liking. Please take this as constructive feedback. The most costly part of producing pho is the time it takes. The amount of meat and noodles in mine was fair but it is still mostly broth made from boiling stuff in water. Now for the good stuff. The Banh Mi was fantastic and has been on my mind ever since. First, the Seattle price comparison. They were $8+ which is more than the $5-$6 we were used top paying in the Emerald City but that's more in line with inflation and the economy. The French bun was excellent and the mix of grilled meat and pickled veggies was perfect. I've had it on my mind every since. The downside is that I like to get a sandwich and a bowl of pho and French dip my sandwich in the broth. Maybe I can persuade them to sell me a small cup of broth on my next visit. There will definitely be a next visit though. This was on point!

The food was not bad, but the restaurant charged us substantially more than the listed prices on the menu. The menu price of my sandwich was $6.99, but they charged me $8.49. the menu of the price of the soup was approximately $14.99, they charged $17.99 per bowl. The taste of the food was actually pretty good but we all felt that the bowl size for the soup wasn't as big as some of the other Vietnamese restaurants we've visited. I'm just concerned that a restaurant has one menu price but then later they charge you more and say that they've upped their prices, with a sign that's not clearly visible. I'm sympathetic in part because I know prices are going up, but they charged me considerably above the rate of inflation. Please see photos below. Later on, they do have a sign posted somewhere that says the prices for the meals are higher than what on the menu. I'm not sure if that is legal, and the sign should be on the front door, not hidden on the side. In conclusion, the food was satisfactory, but I think a bit overpriced. Also, merchants need to have integrity, and make sure prices are disclosed up front, not hidden add-ons or raising prices above the menu prices. I would say based on having eaten in a number of different Vietnamese restaurants, I would say this restaurant comes a little bit below average. A few things I noticed, such as the beans sprouts and basil were put inside the soup, but in other Vietnamese restaurants it comes on the side, which I prefer. Also, water was served in styrofoam cups. I felt a little bit scammed for being deliberately overcharged.. Please see photos below.

Overall, my family's experience in this restaurant was a major disappointment. We seated ourselves, which was confusing because most of the tables had sticky notes with Xs on it. Waited for a bit before someone took our order, but I will say that could be due to the amount of customers that were there at that time. The waitress that took our order didn't know if someone took our order, and then AFTER we placed our order, another waiter came over and tried taking our order. They provided us water in styrofoam cups, which I didn't think too much about until I realized that all the tables surrounding us had regular, plastic cups and pitchers of water. While waiting for our food, my husband went to the restroom and noted that the women's restroom was closed down (I'm guessing the males restroom was now unisex at that point?). The spring rolls had no flavor and I'm not really used to the peanut sauce being that light of color. Regardless, the sauce tasted watered down. Then there's the pho... Not used to the thick, flat noodles, but who am I to say this isn't 'authentic' pho? They also threw all of the accouterments (bean sprouts, basil, cilantro) on the pho instead of having them separate for us to put in our pho. All the bowls are one size - I had the seafood pho ($14.99) and my husband had the rare steak (~$10.99). It was definitely not worth this price.

Title: Best Pho Restaurant in vegas

I recently had the pleasure of dining here and I can confidently say it's a pho lover's paradise. From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for a memorable dining experience.

Ambiance: The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting. Soft lighting and tasteful decor created a cozy atmosphere that was perfect for a relaxed meal. It struck a balance between casual and upscale, making it suitable for both a casual lunch or a special dinner.

Menu Variety: Pho than huong offers an extensive noodle / pho menu that caters to all tastes. Whether you're a fan of classic ramen, crave spicy stir-fried noodles, or prefer something more exotic like udon or pho, they've got you covered. The diverse menu ensures there's something for everyone.

Food Quality: I tried the pho nopdle, and it was an absolute delight. The noodles were perfectly cooked, retaining their ideal texture, and the broth was rich with flavor. The fresh ingredients were evident in every bite, and I appreciated the attention to detail in every component of the dish.

Service: The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and remeber without writing what we order They were more than happy to provide recommendations and accommodate special requests. It made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Portion Size: Portion sizes were generous, ensuring you get your money's worth. I couldn't finish my bowl in one sitting, which meant I got to savor those delicious flavors again later.

Price: Considering the quality and portion size, the prices were reasonable. It's a great value for the exceptional food and service you receive.

Cleanliness: I also noticed that the restaurant was impeccably clean, which is always a reassuring sign of a well-maintained establishment.

You won't be...

Worst service ever!!!! I ordered a vegan pho for my girlfriend and a beef pho for myself I went to pick it up got back home neither were marked with beef or vegan so I called them and told them they look and smell exactly the same I even had my girlfriend and her sister and they both told me they smell and look identical. So they told me to come in and they will replace it. So I went in and a lady I guess the manager/cook took me aside opened up my containers stuck her hands in my food with no gloves and told me she’s the cook and she knows this one is beef and this one is vegan when she switched them 2 times telling me one was vegan then no it’s beef she was unsure so I asked her to bring me at least a sample of each so I can see for myself and she refused. I then left and called to speak to a manager to complain about the service that I was given they didn’t even offer to replace it. Well I called and I asked to speak to the manager unknowing to me it was the same person so I told her what had happened and she told me that it was her I talked to at the restaurant well she then hung up on me so of course I call back and ask for the manager seeing as that’s how the management of this establishment treats customers so she picks up and immediately threatens me by telling me she will call the cops why because I want to speak to the owner or someone over her? Well she again hangs up on me and I call back and they continue hanging up on me and it was about 3 different employees that had done this cuz each time they said hello and each time it was a different person how does one run an establishment with such poor service! I WILL be speaking to the...
