It is not easy to find a decent 24 hour taco shop in Vegas especially since the COVID lockdowns. After a long day I overslept and woke up hungry at 1am and decided to roll up to this place on Tropicana near the airport. Driving around and making an awkward U turn was an adventure in itself. In my opinion it is not in the best location and the drive thru had some very narrow turns. You can even see where the cars hit one of the pillars that holds up the establishment...good luck driving a monster truck in there. I suggest you dine in if you are there at night to avoid all that.

I ordered 3 carne asada tacos and 2 carnitas tacos (fried shredded pork). After ordering I was given a small plastic cone containing a number and was told to go to the parking lot and wait for my food to be delivered. I was puzzled at first but after seeing how this location is already a weird set up I assume it's done to avoid a traffic jam at the entrance. Again it takes me back to the point I made about this not being the best location. I waited for my food, it was delivered to my car, and I drove back home.

All the toppings came in their own separate little bags which is a good thing when ordering take out because the food will not be soggy when you arrive home. I took my first bite off the carnitas taco and it was good but a little dry. The green salsa I added did help out with that but it's not the best carnitas taco I've ever had. Next was the carne asada taco and I was surprised how good it actually tasted. It was grilled just right and it had a fresh taste but like another reviewer already pointed out the amount of meat it had was insignificant (Look at my Naked Taco in my pictures). The tacos have 2 tortillas so I can taste more tortilla than the meats but it was more obvious with the carne asada tacos. The red salsa was good and had a medium heat but I also got another thicker salsa which reminded me of El Pollo Loco for some reason. They also threw in some little bags of onions with cilantro, lemons, and some pickled onions too.

Overall it is ok and the carne asada was good but that alone will not justify me rating this place any higher. I read about the bad service here but mine was ok this night so it might be a hit or miss for some of you. Since we lack decent 24 hour taco shops this place will have to do for now especially if you are bored of Roberto's or Tacos Mexico. But I am willing to give this another chance when I have some late night...

The food is good. I've had burritos, tacos, plantains and rice/beans. The menu has good options. The tacos do come without onions and cilantro for whatever reason but they give it to you on the side in a baggy. The rice and beans are good. Unfortunately they need to get their customer service and organizational skills together. I was only one in the drive through and 1 other person in the window and they were all over the place. Got my order wrong, called me several different names, got my payment mixed up with someone else. It took over 30 min to get my order. If there were phone orders get the drive through out way, it wasn't busy so was so weird. The drive through girl is nice but was clearly stressed. Mind you order wasn't exceptionally big, only ordered 3 tacos, burrito and 2 sides of rice and beans with plantains. I've been a few times and only the last time the rice and beans tasted off. Also when I brought my side back to be swapped out because they got it wrong they said I could throw it out and I'm like well if that's case might as well keep it and they literally were like oh no we need to make sure it's thrown away and took it and tossed it. Like why waste it anyway if you guys are the one that got it wrong. I would've given it to someone. That was ridiculous to me and unnecessary, most places give you your order and just let you keep it because yes it's going to waste. Its unfortunate though. Hopefully they get it...

Terrible service. I go there three times a week. They know who I am and they always act like they don’t understand English. last night I go there. I order Carne Asada fries and four carne asada tacos. when I get home I have fries and one taco me almost $30. I called them. They pull my order. They say OK can you come back? I said no I live 30 minutes away but I work near by I come there 3 times a week. OK, I’ll just come back whenever. I go there today.(by the way this this woman previously charged me five dollars for a Horchata when I asked her for a bottle of water and then proceeded to look at me like I was stupid so I didn’t even ask her for the refund that time ..,) No, we won’t replace it because this is what we charged you for..:, They charge me three dollars for the pico that they took off the Asada fries and the guac that they took off the Carne Asada fries so six dollars in total. When I called the same night she said she would replace my order anytime that week…. mind you I’m a regular customer at this location and they wouldn’t give me the tacos that they said they will honor the night before… and asked me to pay another $10 now they can literally never have my service again this is not the first time they mess up my order but will last time Best of luck...

I can not say enough about how much i love this place! First off the food is the best you can find in Vegas, hands down! I do not say this lightly, for I grew up in Vegas so I definitely know you aren't going to find anywhere better! I also am deeply grateful that they are 24 hours at the Palo Verde location, because I get off work at 6am and I don't want breakfast food, I need real food, and Casa Del Sabor hits so hard after a long night! The horchata is so fresh and homemade, not that package stuff. And if you know anything about horchata, you know what I'm talking about! The tacos are supreme and the most friendliest of staff always loads the meat and gives you plenty of onions and cilantro and sauce. Not like other places, you know what I'm talking about lol. Seriously great value and prices! It can not be beat! Best beef ever, and i highly recommend the Pineapple El Pastor with cheese and spicy green sauce! And not to mention the cabeza is so good and moist and seasoned! Lord have mercy I could keep writing for days on how impressed I am, and everyone i tell to go there says the same thing! You have to try it out and see if you can't leave a great review like this! Thanks Yenni for always being so good to us! You really brighten my mornings!

Finally had a chance to stop and get some other tacos. Very well lit and bright location near Tropicana and Paradise, by the airport I ordered the tacos which at $2.50 are pretty cheap compared to other places but as you can see from the photos you do get a little bit less meat. The strange thing was they do not put the onion and cilantro on the tacos and instead put them in a sandwich bag for you to put it later on, the bag was mostly onion and hardly any cilantro. The buche tacos were very tasty and looked good. The other two tacos were had, and were very different looking from what I have ordered in other places… They tasted good, but let me wondering if the correct meat was used. The three different salsas that were provided were very good, the orange one surprisingly very good. I ordered the Jamaica drink, and it was good overall not bad however, deduct a point for no credit card allowed, only debit or cash, and the lack of cilantro in the condiments in addition to not being on the taco themselves… Pluses being that there’s plenty of parking and the location is well lit and it is open 24 hours for your late night cravings.
