I've ate here before and the service was fast, friendly, and great. The second time not so good. I called ahead like before and was put on hold for 15 minutes. So I drove to the location (while still on hold). I was greeted by a friendly, yet over whelmed cashier who was also the waitress that I could hear on the phone. I stayed on the phone to show her how long I waited. She stated that it was so busy and that she did not know where the phone was. I asked if they had anyone else and she said she was the only one besides the cook. I felt bad for her I almost did not order but I know sometimes it gets busy. I ordered my pizza and she told me it would be a 20-25 minute wait. I waited 15 minutes on the phone so another 25 mintues wouldn't hurt for some really good pizza and it was a night where I did not have anything to do. It really bothered me to see this waitress work so hard and yet remain calm and continue to be professional. I'm not sure if I could do what she does knowing that having another employee to help could elevate the craziness I saw on her face. I can empathize because I've worked in a made to order restaurant but there was always enough help, even if the owner had to come help. One thing I do know to make a business run effectively is having an adequate amount of friendly staff. The food is great but please hire more staff so that people like me will continue to come back. I'm quite sure there's a college student or someone that needs a little extra cash in addition to more help that would help elevate wait times. People talk yet in our modern times "word of mouth" can make a business better or destroy it. For the record I placed my order at 8:18pm. I recieved my order at 8:48pm again I don't mind the wait. On 04/05/2025, I ordered a pizza online through their website to be delivered to my hotel at the Luxor which is approximately 1.5 miles away. I used their “preferred” delivery service (allegedly Uber Eats via Skipcart) which allowed tracking of the order and was told that it would be delivered to the front lobby of the hotel. I completed the order and tipped the driver. The order went out at 11:18 pm for delivery. I watched the delivery driver (Jared H.) drive around the hotel as well as the Excalibur Hotel for approximately 30+minutes but never actually come to the Luxor which at 11:58 pm (while still standing in front of the hotel) I received a notification that the pizza had been delivered. At no point did ANY pizza go through the doors at the hotel. I checked with the front desk, bell desk, valet and they did not receive a pizza order. At this point, it was after midnight and Naked City was closed and I could not reach them about the issue. I tried calling the delivery driver but got a message that said my phone number did not match the account listed (Naked City’s website) and not my account, so I couldn’t even talk to him.
So I was now had no food, no way to fix the issue, and had a charge on my card (listed as Naked.City Pizza) for over $60!
I called Naked City the following g morning when they opened and they refused to fix the issue telling me that I had to contact Uber Eats directly. I explained to them that the charge on my card listed Naked City (NOT Uber Eats) as having been paid. They still refused to fix the issue or let me talk to a manager.
As a result, I had to contact my bank and file a fraud claim since Naked City Pizza refused...
Read moreWalked in right at lunch time and there was no employees to be seen or heard.we picked up one menu and and sat in the dining room. A female employee came and rudely shouted out you must order at the counter. Have eaten there before we knew that but we had a family member in from buffalo and he never saw the menu before.we went up to the counter and place our food order and shortly after that decided to buy some other products on display.our hole interactions with this employee were nit pleasant at all. We tried to be very polite but she seemed very put out that she had to serve us our even wait on us.we ordered a beef on weck, a royal and steak hoagie. Food was good but service was not. She was was very cold and never even checked to ask how our food was. We tipped her in the jar and tried to be ss pleasant and nice being that we were all buffalo natives.not even a freindly comment that we were from buffalo noticing our born and raised in buffalo t shirt.
