Harmon Square — Local services in Paradise

I'm more than a little disappointed that Checker's shut down permanently. It was the only spot within a short walking distance where you could get a affordable burger. The liquor store is over priced, you can get liquor way cheaper catty corner across the street at the CVS. Subway is a waste of time because, again, you can get a much better sandwich catty corner across the street at Capriotti's for roughly the same price. The two redeeming qualities of this shopping center are the Dunkin Donuts and Roberto's Tacos. I haven't eaten at the sushi joint yet, but I look forward to trying it. Also, stay out of Papaya King. Worst, most plasticky hotdogs I've ever had and it made me very sick and the two dudes that were behind the counter acted like i was putting them out by even walking into the place. They wher definitely more interested in their own conversation and seemed to want to make customers feel as uncomfortable as possible so they could get them out of there and continue goofing off behind the counter. I dont like giving bad reviews, but accountability is important. I'm sure management as heard all of this before and I hope positive changes are...

The variety of shopping stores and restaurants provided by this strip mall can be a great experience because there are many of them available for your pleasure, to say the least. There are many dining options that you can choose from as well. Once you choose, just wait until the place opens and order your favorite dishes. Are you looking for something unexpected and interesting? Well, you will find it here at Harmon Square. It is a specialty of theirs that dates back to their grand opening many years ago. I haven't visited every store yet, but they are all on my bucket list in one capacity of another. There is parking available and you don't have to pay for it, so it's free! It is also near all the stores so you don't have to walk a long way before you start shopping. Consider grabbing some carryout for supper tonight. Then you don't have to cook, or do the dishes either! Burgers are available at this one location called White Castle. Have you ever heard of it? Of course you have. I like having a number of businesses within walking distance of my home. However, I think it is the most expensive 7-11 store I have been to. Roberto's Tacos is my favorite place in the square. The food is surprisingly good at Roberto's! The ladies that work there speak English and Spanish very well. They are genuinely nice and easy to talk to. The tourists usually go to Med-Men, the dispensary. It's usually quite busy there. I don't indulge in cannabis anymore. There is a liquor store, too. But I do not drink. Teriyaki Madness was a disappointment for me because I love teriyaki. I prefer the teriyaki restaurants in Seattle. I still have some reason to frequent Harmon Square almost daily.
