The Dive Bar — Restaurant in Paradise

I came in to pick up an order for a customer of the delivery service I work for. There’s a pizza place inside of this bar. It’s hidden & there is no way to communicate with them except thru Dive Bar employees. The only employee I saw was at the pool table socializing. I politely stood there. She could see me but didn’t acknowledge me. After it was clear that she was going to continue socializing despite me standing there looking at her. My fiancé walked over to her to explain that we are from a food delivery company and are being tuned. She looked at him and very rudely said, you can wait then turned back & continued talking to her friends. I couldn’t believe the unprofessionalism & how poorly she was representing Dive Bar & the pizzeria within. When she was ready she called the pizza place. I hope the owners of both establishments read this so they know what a horrible job she’s doing. I did not get her name but she was thin, long dark blonde/light brown hair all one length, glasses & lots of tattoos. She needs to work in a cubical away...

This place was given the appropriate name to say the least. My bd and I stopped in about 1 1/2 hours ago was there for about 45 minutes. While we were there we played $40 each in the two machines that we sat in front of at the bar. The bartender did not even acknowledge we were there. The last time we stopped in the bartenter tried to charge us $10.00 for our drinks (i couldnt even get what i wanted). I asked why we were being charged since I had been playing the machine with a $20 bill in the machine and my bf put a $100 bill in and was playing. She did not bother to look and see if we had put the minimum required ampunt in to have a drinks comped. Needless to say we wont ever step foot back in...

This bar is a gem in an otherwise boring area. The location is close by gas stations, Dotty's and various stores. The staff are AMAZING. Angie is a phenomenal bartender who actually seems to enjoy talking to her customers. The other bartenders are all great too from what I have seen! The doorman is a nice, friendly guy who always seems to be in a good mood. They almost always have live bands, which is nice. The prices aren't too bad considering they have such a HUGE selection of drinks. The atmosphere is very fun and loud. It's very dark inside and has this sort of 80's-90's punk vibe, which is pretty fun. You don't have to deal with other annoying customers because everyone is just there to have...
