STAY AWAY:
Walked in after a long day of travel amongst other things to come in to have some breakfast.
I walked in loving the vibe, the music and the look of the place were fantastic. Yet the host and employees are not friendly at all to outsiders.
Instead of being greeted I was asked in an annoyed tone Can I help you??? I said yes, I came for some breakfast, again the man replied where, I said here. He looked me up and down as if I was an alien. He then asked how many I said one. Then the woman whom I am assuming is one of the owners was staring at me and waved for her security to come. So then two men who are NOT police are in security gear with real guns puffing up their shoulders and looking at me with their hands on their guns. I asked is there a problem??? Instead the women in Spanish is telling the security guards to keep an eye on me because of my tattoos and such. Again do NOT assume someone does not understand what you are saying just based off of appearances.
I never received anyones name no one introudced them selfs at all. Infact when the second man came to take my order he said do you know what you want? I said I had a few questions as I needed to understand some items on the menu as there menu is extensive and has way too many options. I asked about the make your own crepes as well as the other fruit crepe options as I wanted to know what he receommeded as well since it was my first time.
He said I dont eat this as I wanted clarity to be able to order something that I would enjoy, I rephrased the questions and instead got nothing. I also asked for cooked potatoes instead of fried since they had that as an option and the picture showed them well seasoned and delicious.
When the food arrived the potatoes that had No Flavor whatsoever I had to add pepper chulua and then some ketchup. I was extremely disappointed in the potatoes. Then the Blueberry crepes arrived and the first crepe was delicious however the other two were not so flavorful to where I had to add syrup to them to give that sweet taste you continue to get as your eating each crepe.
For drink I had water with Lemon, and it was NEVER refilled as well as I was never checked on or asked how the food was or anything.
I found it very interesting how the entire staffs attitude would change when it was someone they knew walking into the establishment, it was like Dr Jeckle and Mr Hyde.
The minute I ate the last bite of food the man was bringing me my check, and rushing me to leave.
I pulled out my wallet to ensure I had my card and was packing up my notebook and things when he came back grabbed my card and said ill get it done for you.
I walked up to him Signing my name which IS Illegal. I asked him to give me the receipt so that I can actually sign with my signature as my signature is not a squiggle, he kept insisting that I dont need to sign the recdeipt just to put the tip amount. I said no took the receipot and signed my name. When I asked for the check copy he grabbed it said NO I asked again and he looked me in my eyes took them all and said NO again.
This IS NOT how you run a business at all. Your customer service is lacking and Ya'll are illegally signing peoples names on Debit/Credit transactions.
If I could give a 0 I would. The way I was treated, the food, then the siging of my name topped it all off.
Thank you for providing me the worst experiences in all of my travels and all the places I have been too. This is by far the worst restraunt I have ever been in. I have never experienmced such judgement just by walking into a Family Owned Restraunt that from what I read was supposed to have a Family friendly and kind atmosphere. That is not true there was no family friendly tones or attitributes infact the women said to the two securtiy guards she would be calling them back and looked at me...

4 Stars (local chain)
With four locations across the Las Vegas Valley, Blueberry Hill is a local legend for homemade flavors. Sedalia was my server and all I can say about her is, “Wow.” Sedalia was awesome. I am sure she would be just at home serving in a gourmet eatery as she was in this above-average greasy spoon. The Big Boy is on a major roll when it comes to outstanding servers. I loathe the day to come when it inevitably comes to a screeching halt. However, today was not that day! I asked Sedalia the Superb for some Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes, Biscuits & Gravy, eggs over easy with sides of hash browns and corned-beef hash, along with their namesake Blueberry Muffin.
As Sedalia departed to place my order, I snapped some pics of the joint and found myself humming some Fats Domino. Before I finished the tune, Sedalia the Superlative returned with my repast for this visit. Everything smelled and looked so appetizing that it was all I could do to take a few pictures of the food before scarfing it down.
I began my foray into Blueberry Hill’s gastronomic offerings with a forkful of Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes. Holy Al’s Diner, Fonzie! I had to take a furtive look up to ascertain that I was not, indeed, on Mount Olympus as these bad boys were fitting for the Greek Gods. Exploding with flavor on the palate, they were grilled to a perfect fluffiness and if that icing was not made in the back, I’m blind in one eye and can’t see out the other. These were so amazing that I had a hard time putting them down, but I had a job to do. Making a mental note to eat these as soon as I got home, I forced myself to move on to the Biscuits & Gravy.
To those new to the Big Boy, I recently stopped in Las Vegas for a spell, but I am a Southerner by birth and have lived there for most of my life. My point? If there is one thing I know for Got Day-um sure, it’s good Biscuits & Gravy. One bite of this and I would go on record that they have a Wyatt, Atticus, or perhaps a Clementine in the kitchen. Regardless of the cook’s name and location of origin, these biscuits and gravy told me one thing about them. They had Southern in their blood, y’all. Outstanding!
As I was two for two at the plate, I was looking forward to the eggs and their glorious-looking sides of hash browns and corned beef hash. The first forkful of eggs were a home run. Cooked to perfection and tasting farm-fresh, my taste buds were pleased. The hasbrowns were, like everything else so far, cooked spot on. Whomever was in the kitchen was zeroed in and nailing everything. Well done, fellow human! The corned-beef hash taught me a valuable lesson. Holy smokes, the corned beef hash was terrible. Why slack on this, I will never know.
This brings me to the final foodstuff up for review this stop, the Blueberry muffin. First of all, take a look at that picture. Notice the surface and the edges. Does that look toasted to you? It was, wait for it, split and placed on the GRIDDLE. STOP THE PRESSES! Send out a memo to every diner, greasy spoon and choke 'n puke in this here country. Grill your muffins or CLOSE your doors. This was unreal. Why isn’t anyone else doing this? Holy Richie Cunningham, I found my thrill on Blueberry Hill!
The Big Boy says, “No hash and we are talking 5 Stars here. If you are still sitting there reading this, get off your fanny and down to your nearest Blueberry...
