After seeing the good reviews, my friends and I decided to try it out. We came in for dinner around 9:40pm with a party of 9 people. They were not able to seat us together, which we had absolutely no problem with. Half of our party were seated at the main sushi bar and the other half in the back.
The only problem lies with our server, Jacob. When he arrived at the table, he did not greet nor introduce himself. The first thing he said was, âWhat do you want?â We understood that it was busy, therefore we made the ordering process seamless for him by preparing a list each time, practically doing his job for him. On top of that, we did not receive any plates to eat with and had to ask after some of our food items had already came out. We understood that last-call for food was at 10:30pm, therefore we were prepared/understanding and even asked if he wanted our dessert order despite being only halfway through our meal. As more entrĂ©es were coming to the table, Jacob brought out our desserts along with the check while it was apparent that we were still eating. After receiving the check, it later came to Jacobâs attention that we were with the other half at the main sushi bar, while we were seated on the other side of the restaurant. This was when he had a change in tone/attitude because he attempted to ask for the original check back and implied that he needs to apply auto-gratuity. This was when things became frustrating because how are you going to deliver no service, give us an attitude the entire time, bring deserts in the middle of the meal, and drop the check off while we were eating and expect a tip? From my experience, auto-gratuity is applied to large parties at ONE or a closer table, yet our group was completely separated and the other half had a different server.
I am ALWAYS an extremely generous tipper, but this was where things really crossed the line. All-in-all, the food was absolutely great for AYCE and I feel like our experience wouldâve been significantly better if we simply had a different server. The other half of our party had no complaints about their experience and...

Food-
-Nigiri dishes taste bland, they have almost no taste comparison to nigiri in other restaurants. Sauces are unable to enhance or cover flat taste.
-All of their spicy rolls are not made like how most places do spicy rolls, I was disappointed they only used chili powder to make it spicy, so it didn't taste quite flavorful.
+Takoyaki appetizer is cut in half, which was interesting as its usually served as a whole ball form. However, it is very tasty and I would definitely recommend.
+Tempura in one of their tempura rolls was VERY crunchy, which I loved. It added a nice texture to the rolls.
Service-
+Got seated right away, placed my order right away, food was served quick and prompt. Pleasant experience with staff.
Atmosphere-
-Layout is a little odd, they have a tv at the sushi bar but it is tucked in on the top left hand side (it is a bit obstructed).
-Dining area is configured strangely compared to other restaurants, where the seating arrangement almost has no balance in terms of spacing.
+Lighting and air-conditioning are nice. Not too bright of a lighting and not too dark either.
+Decor looks nice, they have the japanese style walls.
Overall 3/5 In my opinion. If you need a quick bite and just happened to be nearby, it isn't a terrible place to eat. But for the price you are paying, there are better...
Read moreI'd probably have to give this place another try but for now this is my review till I feel like giving this place another shot and will update review.
I've been trying to come here for awhile and finally had the chance. I don't know if it was a bad time or what but everything was a disappointment, from the service to the food.
First we were seated in a cramped corner which I soon to found out it was because the other half of the dining area was reserved so ok.
Next we were finally greeted about 15 minutes in of waiting đ« and that was only to take our drink order as you may know we were ready to order away like yesterday by that point lol then we waited even longer before our order was even taken. I kid you not after finally having our order taken and I wish I was kidding it took an absurd amount of time for our simple first order that consisted of an appetizer and 2 inari like what??? I was in a great mood and stayed patient.
Basically after this point our entire experience was not enjoyable, we were sitting way too many times then I'd like with NOTHING in the front of us. All of our orders never made it to the table, was wrong or took too long so we didn't get to have the full experience of this "AYCE" .
And the foooooodddd jus noooooo all of my fish was not fresh and the quality was just so poor. I did however like the softshell crab.
And for the price,...
