Sushi was good but service was terrible. I was asked "how can I help you" like I was inconveniencing them after standing there a few minutes. Why else do people go to restaurants? Because I'm only a party of one maybe they don't want to wait on me? Than I'm places all the way in back & once the hostess started seating people next to me; (which the place is crowded you're practically bumping elbows with the next table) than she changed her mind and seated them elsewhere. Awkward.....than I go to pay my bill & the cashier is just looking at me strange & I had to finally ask if I can pay my bill since it looked like she didn't know why I was there. Another one making me feel like I'm inconveniencing them & don't belong there. I'm a working citizen I'm not a bum from the corners nearby begging for change or better yet one that was sitting right in front as well as all along the shopping strip there!! I suppose because of the location that's the best service you're going to get & now I've learned & actually had a feeling about it before I went in but I was short on time before having to go to work & it was next to Albertsons where I just refilled my water. Sushi was good but could have used more for the price. I opted for just a regular order instead of all you can eat since I was short on time & with sushi o have no self control 😂 Best to go to a better area.

It's the 3rd time I've been here, twice I've sat at the bar, this last time was at a table and I prefer the bar, never had any troubles Service was good as usual but left 6 pieces of 1 type of sushi and waiter flatly said"if you don't eat most of that, you'll be charged additionally for it" me being me, laughed and said; I've been here a few times and that's never happened. My gracious friend said; it does say that on their menu. I laugh and said that's fine, I'll take the charge. Waiter was clearly irritated with me, brought a single check (even though we made it clear for 2 seperate checks) again, he's irritated :/ I wanted to say"DUDE YOUR TOO YOUNG TO BE THIS PRETENTIOUS" but friend gave me a look, so I let it go. Still love the sushi and ambiance here, I'll be sitting at the bar though AND note to ALL staff; if your customer is not upset and laughing; MIRROR THEM! I've been in customer service for a long time and rolling with what you see is the best thing you can do, check your ego and give that customer an AMAZING experience, don't slam 2 checks and say"thank you"...

For a $25 meal in Las Vegas, this place was pretty good. A ton of menu options for rolls, appetizers, nigiri, etc. Seating was for 1.5 hour increments and we had to wait about 20 minutes for our seat on a Saturday night (early evening) - when we left we heard that there were 22 people waiting and a 2.5 hour wait! The biggest issue I had was the rice to fish ratio for the rolls (sorry for the half-eaten pictures) - the rolls would have been much tastier if I hadn’t had a mouthful of rice each time. They were unique and overall fresh tasting. The best part was that you can order half rolls (4 pieces) so you can try a bunch of variety without feeling full after only a couple rolls. The nigiri is the way I would go if I were to come back. Fish to rice ratio was great and the fish tasted nice and fresh. The only thing I would not recommend is the uni - when we ate it, it tasted rotten. Overall, not a bad choice to stop by outside of Vegas, but I would avoid ordering too many rolls to limit the amount of rice intake.

After seeing the good reviews, my friends and I decided to try it out. We came in for dinner around 9:40pm with a party of 9 people. They were not able to seat us together, which we had absolutely no problem with. Half of our party were seated at the main sushi bar and the other half in the back.

The only problem lies with our server, Jacob. When he arrived at the table, he did not greet nor introduce himself. The first thing he said was, “What do you want?” We understood that it was busy, therefore we made the ordering process seamless for him by preparing a list each time, practically doing his job for him. On top of that, we did not receive any plates to eat with and had to ask after some of our food items had already came out. We understood that last-call for food was at 10:30pm, therefore we were prepared/understanding and even asked if he wanted our dessert order despite being only halfway through our meal. As more entrĂ©es were coming to the table, Jacob brought out our desserts along with the check while it was apparent that we were still eating. After receiving the check, it later came to Jacob’s attention that we were with the other half at the main sushi bar, while we were seated on the other side of the restaurant. This was when he had a change in tone/attitude because he attempted to ask for the original check back and implied that he needs to apply auto-gratuity. This was when things became frustrating because how are you going to deliver no service, give us an attitude the entire time, bring deserts in the middle of the meal, and drop the check off while we were eating and expect a tip? From my experience, auto-gratuity is applied to large parties at ONE or a closer table, yet our group was completely separated and the other half had a different server.

I am ALWAYS an extremely generous tipper, but this was where things really crossed the line. All-in-all, the food was absolutely great for AYCE and I feel like our experience would’ve been significantly better if we simply had a different server. The other half of our party had no complaints about their experience and...

This review is rated based on other sushi experiences in Las Vegas with AYCE menu and same price point.

Food-

-Nigiri dishes taste bland, they have almost no taste comparison to nigiri in other restaurants. Sauces are unable to enhance or cover flat taste.

-All of their spicy rolls are not made like how most places do spicy rolls, I was disappointed they only used chili powder to make it spicy, so it didn't taste quite flavorful.

+Takoyaki appetizer is cut in half, which was interesting as its usually served as a whole ball form. However, it is very tasty and I would definitely recommend.

+Tempura in one of their tempura rolls was VERY crunchy, which I loved. It added a nice texture to the rolls.

Service-

+Got seated right away, placed my order right away, food was served quick and prompt. Pleasant experience with staff.

Atmosphere-

-Layout is a little odd, they have a tv at the sushi bar but it is tucked in on the top left hand side (it is a bit obstructed).

-Dining area is configured strangely compared to other restaurants, where the seating arrangement almost has no balance in terms of spacing.

+Lighting and air-conditioning are nice. Not too bright of a lighting and not too dark either.

+Decor looks nice, they have the japanese style walls.

Overall 3/5 In my opinion. If you need a quick bite and just happened to be nearby, it isn't a terrible place to eat. But for the price you are paying, there are better...

I'd probably have to give this place another try but for now this is my review till I feel like giving this place another shot and will update review.

I've been trying to come here for awhile and finally had the chance. I don't know if it was a bad time or what but everything was a disappointment, from the service to the food.

First we were seated in a cramped corner which I soon to found out it was because the other half of the dining area was reserved so ok.

Next we were finally greeted about 15 minutes in of waiting đŸ˜« and that was only to take our drink order as you may know we were ready to order away like yesterday by that point lol then we waited even longer before our order was even taken. I kid you not after finally having our order taken and I wish I was kidding it took an absurd amount of time for our simple first order that consisted of an appetizer and 2 inari like what??? I was in a great mood and stayed patient.

Basically after this point our entire experience was not enjoyable, we were sitting way too many times then I'd like with NOTHING in the front of us. All of our orders never made it to the table, was wrong or took too long so we didn't get to have the full experience of this "AYCE" .

And the foooooodddd jus noooooo all of my fish was not fresh and the quality was just so poor. I did however like the softshell crab.

And for the price,...
