It was about time I tried these Hong Kong Egg Waffles and weird fish shaped pastries. They've been all over my Instagram feed for months and had piqued my curiosity. My friends and I had just had burgers near by and it was time for dessert so we came here!
You have a choice of three different flavors for the waffle - vanilla, macha or chocolate. I went went chocolate for obvious reasons. It was very lightly topped with diced strawberries, Fruity Pebbles Cereal and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. I'm pretty sure that the scoop on chocolate ice cream is Thrifty's Chocolate Crunch. I have to say that next time I would order an extra scoop next time, because one just isn't enough for this girl! But the waffle was perfectly delightful! It was fluffy and light, but still had a nice chew to it. It was only lightly sweetened and was great at soaking up the melted ice cream.
The little fish pastries (which I can't remember the name of) seemed to be made out of the same batter as the waffle. One order comes with two. There are three fillings to choose from - Nutella, custard or red bean. I got Nutella and red bean. The red bean didn't seem as full and wasn't quite as sweet as a wanted. But the Nutella was fantastic!! (How could it not be?)
I'd love to visit this place again and get some more little fishies! More Nutella-filled for sure! And maybe give the...

During our recent weekend getaway to Las Vegas, my wife and I stumbled upon a delightful little spot called Itea Boba & Dessert. This small but cozy tea shop immediately caught our attention, and we decided to give it a try.
Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly young lady who enthusiastically recommended various teas and bobas. Her positive attitude and eagerness to assist both us and other customers made the experience particularly enjoyable.
We decided on the Tea Super Mix Fruit and the Mix Fruit Sago, both of which were absolutely lovely. While savoring our refreshing drinks, the manager stopped by to chat. She shared fascinating insights about their ongoing renovations and the shop's history. We learned about their mission within the community and the generous efforts the owners have made to help others.
To our surprise, we were treated to a complimentary dessert, which was simply terrific! The manager expressed that business has been challenging lately, so if you find yourself in Vegas, I highly recommend visiting Itea Boba & Dessert. Enjoy their delicious offerings, leave a nice tip, and support their wonderful mission. It's a stop you...
Read moreI’ve been a long-time customer of Itea, but today I’m really disappointed. I ordered avocado, the same thing I’ve been ordering for a long time, but the taste today was terrible. It was overly sweet—you couldn’t even taste the avocado or the milk. It just tasted like sugar water, and there was even a bitter aftertaste. It was so bad that I couldn’t help but go back to the store and talk to the staff. The name on the receipt was Tony.
That’s when I found out they changed their recipe two weeks ago. This staff member, Tony, also had poor customer service. I didn’t feel any concern from him at all. Even though he said he would return my money, the way he said it came off as rude. I told him I didn’t come back for a refund—I came back to let them know that their avocado drink now tastes horrible and nothing like before. He repeated that they had changed their ingredients.
The old staff were kind and respectful, but the staff now are just useless. I won’t be coming back again. To everyone reading this, please be aware that as of today, June 4, 2025, they’ve changed their recipe. I am not satisfied at all with their service—this is a super bad...
