Waffle & Pancake House — Restaurant in Paragould

This place has the potential to be a 5-star if their servers would be better. The food is great but the waitresses need a lot of help. From nasty smirky looks, or just out right ignoring you. The older ladies are awesome, polite, wonderful and nice. The younger ones argue and throw each other under the bus when you ask for more coffee.. example this past Sunday..one of the waitresses (dark short hair) was yelling at her daughter and cussing at her.. Almost all waitresses were crying and running into the bathrooms... Then when asking for extra coffee please.. was told that's your waitress's job to do I don't know where she's at... Okayyyyyyy... We keep trying to give it a shot because the food is so good.. whoever the owner is you really need to get new waitresses... Just don't get rid of the two older ones that you have...

I gave this Waffle House 3 chances. Today was the last one!!! The service is very poor at this location. We had to ask for refills and the server acted annoyed when we did. The icing on the cake was when we ordered another milk and she said, "you know I'll have to charge for that refill!" I replied, that's ok no problem...After 5-10 mins I went to ask where the milk was and she said, "In the refrigerator..." I looked right at her and said can you get it ... To which the reply was.... No the manager has to and she's out back. Finally, I gave up and just asked...

This little shop serves a good waffle. The waitresses never stop moving, its peanut safe, and you can't beat their pricing. I was glad to see a sign on the door encouraging mask wearing, with the option to buy a cheap mask before being allowed to enter. When we got in the restaurant you could see roped off tables and the waitresses had masks. Though I was disappointed to see that they only had their mouths covered at times and the customers were coming and going...
