After visiting several Boba Time locations over the years, I had high expectations when trying this new spot, but unfortunately, this visit was a major letdown. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the staff was overwhelmed and inefficient. Despite placing our order online to avoid the long line, we still faced a considerable wait. Walk-in customers looked visibly frustrated, many waiting upwards of 20 minutes for their drinks. Ontop of making an online order had to wait 6 mins after said time. The real issue came when we received our order. One of the drinks was missing the strawberry bursting boba customization, which I had paid extra for. It's unacceptable for staff to move this slowly and still make careless mistakes. Attention to detail should be a minimum standard, especially when service speed is lacking. Having visited five other Boba Time locations, I can confidently say this one fails to meet even the most basic expectations of quality and service. The disorganization and lack of urgency from the team, including what appears to be poor oversight from management, reflect poorly on the brand. I would strongly advise others to visit a different location. Sadly, this was my first and...
Read moreBoba time was the last place me and my ex went together (it was his favorite lol). The menu was huge and there were so many options, heâd usually order for me but this time I was on my own. I went around night time and met this really sweet girl! I think her name is Mari? She had blonde hair and a big smile. Served me with so much kindness and patienceâshe waited until I stopped crying, she didn't judge me or look at me weird. I had a pretty rough night processing my breakup, and when I went in I was so overwhelmed by all the options so l asked her to make me something not too sweet but not too bland. Mari ended up recommending me a taro milk tea with lychee jelly. Ironically, taro happens to be one of my favorite flavors too, it hit me emotionally. I know it may sound ridiculous, but this brought back so much nostalgic, memories, and it gave me a sense of comfort. It may have only been a drink, but the experience of her warming customer service wraps everything together. So I hope she's living her best life getting treated the best. Seriously I haven't seen a worker that cares about their customer like this in a long time. Anyways, I'd recommend checking out this place :)

Read moreThis was my first and definitely last time coming here. I really wanted to like this place, but the whole experience was a letdown. The drink I ordered tasted like it had water down but still icy at the same time. Not what youâd expect from a place that specializes in this stuff.
What really stuck with me, though, was how tense the energy felt inside. All the workers looked seriously stressed, like they were afraid to breathe wrong. One of them dropped a cup and looked like she was going to cry. And then there was this guyâclearly the managerâlurking behind the counter, micromanaging every little move. At one point, he actually shouted at one of the workers in front of customers, and not in a âhey, heads upâ kind of wayâit was harsh and completely unnecessary. The way he hovered, corrected, and barked orders made the place feel more like a boot camp than a boba shop.
I came in for a quick treat and left feeling weirdly guilty for even being there. Itâs clear the staff isnât being treated right, and that kind of environment always seeps into the customer experience....
