Dopamine Land: A Multisensory Experience — Attraction in Paramus

This is easily one of the best hidden gems at Garden State Mall - spent a portion of Memorial Day here celebrating a family member's birthday and just cutting right to it - the only reason I would not give this a 5/5 is for two factors:

Endless screaming kids/families - which is to be expected because it's Memorial Day so it's out of the company's control other than having better time gaps for scheduled times people are walking through the areas

-Paid extra for the Oxygen Bar in advance and upon check-in was told it was not available and I would have to contact customer service (FEVER app) - after a back and forth, was told there are no refunds and I could receive a voucher - which just didn't sit well with me. Have loved FEVER events and in the future I sadly will either look for other options or just not purchase any add-ons in advance.

The overall experience is super fun and chill - I would say if you're looking for a cool experience with unique rooms - this is an awesome outing - just consider going at times when kids/students are in school or when it will be more adults there. The experience is super unique and meant to be relaxing and fun - so timing is key in my opinion.

I had such a pleasant and memorable experience at Dopamine Land! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and fun. Everything was so well put together and thoughtfully designed to make you feel relaxed and uplifted.

One cool extra I loved was their oxygen bar add-on for just $13 — they offer four different flavors to choose from, and it was such a unique and refreshing experience. It made a perfect little break between exhibits, helping me recharge and unwind.

A special shoutout to Michelle, the assistant manager. She was an absolute sweetheart! Not only did she make me feel comfortable and well-informed about what to expect, but I also noticed how attentive she was to her team — regularly checking in to make sure her staff was doing okay and offering breaks when needed. It’s rare to see that kind of genuine leadership and care in a busy environment.

This was not an easy experience for my family. I could have stayed home and put all my pillows in one room, all my lights and add color lights in another room, a bunch of balloons in another room, and writings on the walls of another, fake grass and calming music in another and a dance floor with mirrors in another room and that will be a dopamine land. I would never ever do this again because it was a waste of time and money. You want to leave a place knowing that you enjoyed yourself and you didn’t waste your time or money. The pillow room had a smell in it and a can of Lysol at your disposal. If you need a can of Lysol to help you deal with the smell is crazy. That’s a crazy red flag, and upon entering the premises it was empty and that’s another red flag. So guys if you enter any place and it’s empty make sure you leave. I will never go here again I’ll take the money I spent to go to a different experience. I don’t know how the heck they managed to get 4.8 stars because it’s regular rooms with regular stuff.
