Stopped by on a rainy Saturday at noon. This Mochinut is located inside of the Hmart. It was my first time trying a Korean corn dog that wasn’t from the frozen section of a Korean supermarket but I think I might prefer the supermarket one.
I had the potato half and half and it was very heavy. I liked the hot dog and regretted not just getting a full one. I didn’t care for the potato, which was coated in sugar. I usually do like salty and sweet but not this time. I felt like it was mostly just mochi batter. It was also a bit difficult and messy to eat. My husband had the same thing, but he liked it. We also got a Cheetos original to try. This had less batter but it was just soggy crushed up cheetos.
We also ordered some mochi donuts to go - ube, matcha, and strawberry. The only one that really had a distinct flavor was the ube but overall, they were all too sweet. The consistency was nice though. The best thing we had was probably the ube bubble tea.
I would probably only come back if someone was dying to try one and I will definitely just keep it simple and get the original. But I think for now, I will just make a beeline for that...

I was in line waiting for my respective turn, but when I walked up to the cashier, she pointed to the people behind me without even saying anything. I was confused because she acted as if I cut the line, but the people behind me came way after I did. With literally no words exchanged with the cashier, I infinitely waited for my one corndog for the span of 20+ minutes where the worker just stared at me for a lot of the time, while I was standing right in the front of their store clearly waiting for my food. After waiting so long, I walked up to the cashier area to explain I've been waiting for a long time just for them to say they called me multiple times, which they haven't. It was my first time here, so maybe there was some kind of process that I was not aware of, but if that was the case, they should have...
Read moreMy experience at Mochinut Paramus inside HMart was 5-stars and hands down amazing. I have been to Mochinut several times and the experience has never been disappointing.
The food quality is exquisite and delicious. The cooking staff takes their time to make sure that the food the serve customers is up to par, and exemplary. Korean hot dogs are absolutely amazing. My favorite foods are the Oreo donut and the whole or half mozzarella hot dog. I strongly urge everyone to try those two items.
The service and atmosphere is friendly, warm, welcoming and wholesome. Not one time have I experienced a manager, team member or a staff member be rude, disrespectful or have an attitude. The staff treats the customer like family, not a nuisance. The staff exceeds expectations and strives to make sure the customer has a warm welcome...
