2025 Update
I couldn’t resist coming back again today, and I’m thrilled to say the food is as amazing as ever! This time, I ordered a cheese steak chicken sandwich, a hot dog with fries, and a refreshing fresh lemonade. Everything was spot on, reminding me why this spot holds a special place in my heart.
Growing up in Yonkers, I was spoiled by the massive Nathan’s we had there. My grandfather worked at Nathan’s, so I know quality when I taste it. This place not only holds up but might just be the best I’ve ever had. The hot dogs are grilled to perfection, with buns that are soft yet sturdy enough to hold all the condiments you could want.
A standout memory from my last visit was their burger topped with pastrami, jalapeños, and a secret condiment blend. I was hesitant at first but gave in after seeing a few mall workers rave about it. It was an absolute flavor bomb—nothing short of exceptional.
Today’s cheese steak chicken sandwich had just the right balance of tender meat, melted cheese, and perfectly toasted bread. And let’s not forget the lemonade—fresh, tangy, and just sweet enough to tie the whole meal together.
Every time I come here, I can’t help but admire how clean the kitchen is—it’s something I always check. Plus, the baked half-chicken with BBQ sauce I saw last time is still on my radar. It looked mouthwateringly good, and I’ll definitely be back to try it.
Whether it’s nostalgia or simply the unbeatable quality, this place keeps bringing me back. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out on...
Read moreCan I give this place no stars?!?! You see, I used to work as a skating guard at Coney Island skating rink. That’s last century, when Nathan’s was a local chain. It’s a long time from there, but as you can imagine the taste of fries I remember… well I saw these on someone else’s table and said I’ll get a large order… it’s not large and the price was eye watering $8.41. That’s for less than a handful of fries. Soggy undercooked fries. When I questioned pricing the employee got very dismissive and literally walked away from me, as if he had heard that before. Guess that explains why there is one employee behind the counter and I was the only customer. Save your money. You’ll get more fries at five guys and they are better.

Read moreThe menu says 17.99 for fish and chips and I was charged 21.99. When I asked why, they said it was because there’s a flounder vs cod option. Note that this not mentioned anywhere in the menu. Older gentlemen gives me attitude as if I ordered incorrectly! Rude!
As for the food.. note my picture where the chips are essentially 8 fries. The crust on the fish is pretty soggy. Little to no crunch. I can taste slight uncooked batter. The hush puppy was crispy but the interior was also under cooked.
I don’t blame the younger workers here. The older guy seems to be running the show and doing the cooking as well. Take your business elsewhere. Oh why did I not just...
