Wendy's — Restaurant in Paramus

My friend and I ate here, in the lobby, on two occasions in September. Both times the lobby was not properly cleaned. The soda machine BOTH times was splattered with soda syrup. I had to go out to my car and get disinfectant wipes to clean the nozzle before I poured my drink. There were crumbled napkins on the counter at the side of the machine. I’m assuming other people had also cleaned the machine. The second visit, I once again went out to my car to get disinfectant wipes to clean the table. There was an employee leisurely changing the garbage bags. But NOT cleaning the soda machine or tables! The higher table by the window, where we wanted to sit, had a tall chair and a regular chair. I went to the counter to ask if there was another tall chair and was looked at like I was crazy! I had to supply my own answer by asking if it was removed for repair! I was dismissively told it had been. The bathroom is in serious need of remolding! It’s relatively clean, but the toilet bowls are stained. It has ONE out dated hand blower! The door on the inside has a high handle that you must touch after washing your hands! The service was pretty good. No problems with the greeting or confirmation of my order... but then they STILL got it wrong when I picked it up at the counter! Once corrected , the food was okay. Why such an extensive critique? I walked into the restaurant this Thursday, saw the same sloppiness, and turned around and walked back out! I’ve been coming to this location for years, but have cut back due to dietary restrictions. When I come now, it’s my special “cheat treat”. To see the decline of this restaurant is pretty disappointing! THIS PLACE NEEDS SOME SERIOUS ATTENTION FROM...

First time I went to this Wendy's and something very weird was happening there. When we pulled up to place our order, we were told to wait. Ok no big deal. She took like 5 minutes and we placed our order but she was nice and we figured it might be busy. Then when we pulled up behind the car at the window, we saw the lady (an older lady) inside gesturing all crazy and seemed like she was yelling at the customer and looked all angry. When it was our turn she had already walked away and two other people, a guy and a girl were staring at their computer and talking. Finally the guy turned to us and asked us if whatever he read from the computer was what we ordered, which we confirmed it was. We got our food and parked in the parking lot to eat, only to find that our burgers and nuggets were room temperature. I don't know what went on in that place and I don't even want to know what's going to happen with my stomach later but at least the food was edible and didn't taste bad, even though it wasn't hot. Something should be done about how that place is run. Very strange and food should be hot when we get it and start eating it...

Ok.. Sooo Wendys is definitely my go to of all the fast food chains... but this particular location fails in soo many ways from the drive thru staff at night to the food they serve and prepare.. The drive thru staff was very hood.. which was just the beginning and the food was prepared sloppily.. I ordered a #1 single.. it was extremely too hot.. lettuce wilted.. no tomatoes.. cheese was soo melted it was just a smear.. and it had a wrapper for a chicken sandwich.. The soda seemed to have been sitting around and didn't taste like coke.. the French fries were sad and limp.. the nuggets seemed to be the only thing that passed.. my friend also placed an order.. and actually took one bite and threw out his food.. 20.00 bucks down the drain...
