Starbucks — Restaurant in Paris

The Starbucks employees are super friendly + the shop maintains substantial cleanliness. However, the shop isn’t run very efficiently in the mornings. The staff doesn’t handle the AM work rush well. I order via mobile app daily and it is growing to be more and more frequent that my order will take almost an hour before it is ready for pickup and I’ve heard other customers complaining about the wait and/or walking out with no coffee. I don’t expect it to be ready by the time the app indicates but I order far enough in advance to ensure I don’t have to wait 20-30 minutes at the shop and I’ve tried ordering earlier understanding they are extremely busy in the mornings but it doesn’t seem to matter how early I place my order. It’s growing to be more frequent that the baristas don’t start making my drink or even pulling my order for the line up until I walk through the door - which really defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. I've been to Starbucks all around the United States. This one in Paris Texas is on the same level as all the others. Quality coffee and beverages, nice clean interior and friendly staff. Service is as fast as the coffee /beverage can be possibly be made. Small Town Starbucks in Texas are the best most unique places to visit. I was immediately welcomed with a " Howdy y'all welcome to Starbucks how may I help you?" This place deserves 5 stars, but it is in a weird location, tucked in between a pharmacy and a restaurant in a kind of strip mall attached to neither one. I found two ways to get in the parking lot. One is on a entrance ramp entering onto the loop 286 off of Lamar Ave., And the other is turning into the strip mall parking lot. Which I drove past not realizing I could turn there to reach my destination. It's easy enough to get yourself turned around in The Walmart parking lot though. Ordered just a black coffee and ice water and waited 20 minutes, and didnt even get it because after 20 minutes, they said I'm next, and then they got to it and said the coffee wasnt warm and they were going to brew a new batch. I asked if I could just take a different blend and they said all the coffee wasn't warm. Are you kidding me? This would have easily been realized if they had quickly poured the coffee right when I ordered. Normally for a black coffee they just pour it immediately since it takes about 5 seconds. Instead they made me wait behind everyone's fancy drink orders. Nothing against fun drinks, but I specifically ordered black coffee because I'm in a hurry. Do not stop here.
