Unauthorized use of funds and retail fraud occurs at this location. Beware of potential refund fraud and deceptive business practices at this Popeyes location! If you have been promised a refund, double-check that it was actually issued and not secretly reversed. I was assured I would receive a refund, only to find out later that it was never processed, and after more than 30 days, I still have not received my money back. This is a clear example of failure to honor a refund policy and unethical business conduct. Check your statements, and don’t let this happen to you, and when it does, file a police report and contact the Attorney General.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Popeyes location due to the unprofessional behavior of the manager, Ms. Anna, who referred to herself as “The Boss.” When I pointed out that the combo I ordered was missing the sauce—a standard component of the meal—Ms. Anna initially insisted that the combo does not include sauce, contradicting the clearly stated menu. Despite this being no fault of mine, she displayed a dismissive and disrespectful attitude, even going so far as to tell me she had time to address the issue but she was “busy”…I assume an emotional response to me saying “I have time”. I did initially called but my call went unanswered, no surprise.
To make matters worse, Ms. Anna informed me that I was not entitled to a refund, despite the meal being incomplete. The fact I was waiting for the refund for the missing “sauce” that was properly adjusted for the entire meal after I sat to wait, simply reflects the lack of understanding for the position of a “boss”. Her unwillingness to acknowledge a basic customer service standard or resolve the issue was deeply frustrating. Only after what seemed like considerable hesitation, and perhaps after reviewing the menu information, did she finally concede and issue the refund. Perhaps she was aware that had she not it would have been a breach of consumer protection standards.
This experience serves as a cautionary tale for future customers at this location. If you plan to order here, be prepared to double-check with the staff to ensure your combo includes everything listed on the menu, as this location appears to have an inconsistent approach to fulfilling orders. Read moreI placed a drive thru mobile order today at the Paris, TX location. I waited in line for about 15 minutes and finally got to the speaker. I was then told that all mobile orders have to be picked up inside. Note that on the app drive thru pick up is an option. I then go inside and there is no mobile order pick up place inside so I waited in line for another 15 minutes. I told the girl at the register that I had a mobile order. I then waited for approximately another 30-45 minutes for my food. I finally became impatient and asked when my food would be ready, they had not even started on my order even though people that came in 10-20 minutes after me had already received their food. The manager came out to speak to me and she seemed very incompetent and not suitable for management position. She could not answer any of my questions as to why I had to come inside when I choose drive thru pick up on the mobile app. The only response she was capable of coming up with is "I don't know anything about the website". She told me I would have to call a phone number to get a refund. I was then told that it was her decision to make all mobile and pick up orders come inside. This should not even be an option on the app if that is the case and since she knows nothing about how to operate the app or even change anything on the app she should not be able to make such rule because now customers like me go from a 5 minute visit to a wait over an hour. She has absolutely no knowledge on management and has caused this location to suffer since taking over. I will be contacting every source necessary to make sure this is fixed. UPDATE 9/26/21: After 4 months we decided to try this location again. We really like popeyes chicken so we want to like this store.
It took 35 minutes to get through the drive thru.
The person taking the order was distracted and talking with others. Then would come back to my order and ask me to start over.
This location is still out of specific things. a. Chicken nuggets b. BBQ sauce c. Ketchup
We get to the window, and the lady takes my card and runs it. Hands me my food then my card. Says the receipt machine is down so I can't get one.
I had ordered 3 extra chicken tenders since they were out of nuggets. I got a crazy hunch that we may not have gotten everything we ordered. Went through the bag and sure enough... No extra tenders. I didn't have my receipt so I was unable to get replacements for the missing food. Go figure.
All the chicken tasted and smelled like fish. I get they serve both and that that might be somewhat expected, especially if they don't change the grease. But this was really fishy. The fries were cold and hard. And all the food was just dumped in the box.
