Dragon Gate — Restaurant in Parma Heights

Since the change of ownership, this place has gone from hero to zero. If I could give negative zero stars, I would. We were famished and drove 20 min to dine in vs our occassional carry out. What a mistake! First observation was the atmosphere; there's a reason it's lowly lit and that's to camouflage all the visible filth in the dining room; I can only imagine what's going on in the kitchen, ew! My husband and I sat down at 5:30 while our server decided to repeatedly pass us by for 30 minutes to service the 4 other tables that got sat after us. Each of those tables had multiple guests so maybe she thought those tables were going to be more lucrative than our lowly 2 top. She didn't greet us, ask for a drink order or offer to get appetizers in while we waited. Just completely ignored us. The hostess finally asked us what we'd like to drink after 20 min of just sitting there then our server so graciously asked if we were ready at 6pm, we said yes and she said hold on and walked away for another 10 min. I was a server many years ago, so I know what it's like to get behind so I was trying my best to be patient but there was no reason for my husband and I to sit there while we watched those 4 other tables, get their drinks and appetizers all before we were ever greeted. I've always been an "above and beyond" tipper, but tonight was the first time in my life, that I left absolutely nothing, that's how blatantly obvious this situation was; even when I've gotten bad service, I always leave the standard minimum. This was a whole other level of rudeness. When we finally did get our food over an hour later, it was cold. Meaning it had to be up in the window for 10 - 15 min before she bothered to bring it out. What a joke of a place and a waste of money. I'll never order from them again! Delivery, Dine in...

The shorter black haired waitress with black glasses was very rude for the entire time of our meal. She started by taking my wife's order wrong then scoffing and walking away. Our meal was brought to the table in pieces so we had the choice of either hot egg rolls now or cold egg rolls with our meal. Overall, after the way she acted I was not happy with the service. I was going to split the tip 1/2 on my card and 1/2 in cash. She came to take the receipt and openly chastised me for only leaving a 3 dollar tip as I had my wallet in hand to ask her to break a 20 dollar bill. She takes 5 dollars from the 20 and walks away now leaving 8 dollars when I was going to leave 6 due to the sub par service and disrespect to my wife. The gall... I let it go as to not loose my own dignity infront of my wife over 2 dollars but that is blatantly unacceptable. To scoff at my wife, give sub par service, then complain about the tip based off your own actions is mind boggling. I remember them at their Brookpark location and the food is just as excellent as it always has been. The service today was disgusting and deciding her own tip is...

The food was really, really good Friendly service.. The restaurant was very clean As if September 8th I will not be going back ..the woman acted like I was bothering her..by asking if they have shrimp egg rolls..she kept pointing at the menu on the counter...I said I just wanted a shrimp roll added to my order.. I got sweet and sour chicken.. and a general souls chicken ... My chicken was way over cooked very hard ....my husband liked his... But honestly I won't be going back.....I forgot my reading glasses at home...and she couldn't just tell me if they had a freaking shrimp roll....finally she said no...No shrimp roll.... Rudely...on called for attitude... Food wasn't nothing special...for me...this time...last time was good...thought i found a good Chinese place....my husband said his was good but he doesn't have to have it..so next time we decide to eat Chinese food..it will be from another place...but I do want to say the old man is very nice.....the older lady is RUDE..at first I thought it was because she couldn't speak good English..but realized...
