Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Parma

EDIT: WOW!!! I had no idea this place had so many terrible negative reviews before I posted my own. Seriously check out all of the terrible negative reviews, this place is an absolute disgrace and should be closed down and all of the staff trained properly from scratch. The complaints are very similar to my own, go here at your very own big risk. This is a bad restaurant in a good city operated by couldn't-care-less staff.

This is a newer Chipotle, but they've had multiple complaints and multiple bad reviews. My experience seems to be in line with everybody else's.

I went inside and had to use the restroom, when I came back out I went to the counter and I had to wait for a single person working behind the counter to make two burrito bowls. By the time they got around to me, they didn't even greet me but just stood there and stared at me.

I said clearly, I would like a burrito bowl and the person behind the counter started trying to make a burrito for me and I had to correct her. After that, they made the rest of my burrito bowl correctly but couldn't remember what I ordered on the burrito even though I was the only customer in line and there was nobody behind me and nobody else putting any pressure on them. Not sure why they couldn't remember but not that big of a deal.

Then I stood there waiting for almost 5 minutes. Nobody was coming to the cash register to ring me up. I kept looking around and asking if anybody is going to ring me up so I could eat my burrito bowl. No response from anybody even though I had two employees behind the counter looking directly at me. I asked out loud, nobody came to my assistance, the employees behind the counter didn't ask for anybody to come help me get rung out.

It seems that the store is focusing more on the orders through the drive-thru window and to go orders versus dealing with a customers who are standing in line waiting to pay for the food they ordered.

The tables also look like they hadn't been wiped down, So while I stood there waiting for my burrito bowl to be rung up I was contemplating where I'm going to sit since every table was dirty. Eventually I realized nobody was coming to ring up my purchase so I just left and went to the McDonald's across the street.

I live only a couple blocks away and I've heard nothing but bad things about this Chipotle which like I said only opened up a short while ago, but they clearly are struggling to have competent staff and they clearly are struggling with keeping up with the very few people who are coming in as customers.

I will not be returning and I recommend that until corporate gets in there and cleans house, which they shouldn't have to do for such a brand new operation, everybody else avoid this place in the meantime.

I came in there today at 11:05 a.m. you guys open up at 10:45 a.m. there's no chicken there was no steak like what are you guys even open for I don't understand how there's never any chicken or anything available the independence location I used to go to on Rockside Road but they never have anything on time ready for people's lunch break so that therefore I drive up to Snow Road today there's nothing there again no chicken no steak empty pants in the steam table six or seven people walking around but nothing is getting cooked then I have to wash some kid who's cooking the food turn around with his dirty underwear hanging out his pants that are hanging down to his ankles and then I looked to the right and there's one of your prep cook girls playing with her hair in the corner of the kitchen doesn't wash your hands in like it's right on the open like that's a health code violation he can't be playing with your hair in the middle of a kitchen I don't understand that this place is disgusting corporate needs to come in and take charge because I don't know what's going on with these Chipotles none of these restaurant can get anything together by the time they open they claim they had a catering order well so what so you're the catering order soon as every other restaurant ever have a catering order they always get their food out why bother opening up at 10:45 if you can't serve customers what's on your menu first was a steak El Pastor that was your special that was your hot menu item I went there four times in a row at 11:30 still couldn't get El pastor therefore I didn't get to enjoy that menu specialty item now I can't even order a simple chicken burrito for lunch I had to drive back and forth to try to find a place to eat just cuz Chipotle's failed me once again you guys should be ashamed of yourself this is a brand new restaurant plenty of people working for my point of view I count at least six or seven people just in the front who knows what you got in the back but if you can't seem to get chicken cut least for one order then maybe you should get another line of work you know or retrain your management to do their time management properly because there's no reason this shouldn't be open on time with at least chicken off of your customer what am I going to get a rice and Barbacoa with some corn burrito? I’m normally not one to complain as I have worked at chipotle before but this is a brand new location and should NOT be this terrible after just 2 days. I got there and the like was to the door so not horribly long you’d think… wrong. They were getting people out 1 person every 10 minutes…. Why is it that there is a manager + 3 people on line and I’m standing there barely moving a single foot after 20+ minutes? Come to find out they shut down the digital make line and the girl was making ALL of her orders on front line making the customers that came in wait even longer. Line of people wrapped around the building here for their orders and she’s holding us up making their food when she’s supposed to have her own area for that but decided to close it down 2 hours early and migrate to the front line which is unfair to us… Then I sat there and watched A MANAGER pour new sour cream into the old crusty container that was on the line instead of in a clean container and labeling it? I got me thinking how long that singular pan has been sitting there and he’s just been refilling it and that’s disgusting. Line was atrocious. 4 people plus a cashier and no one thought to wipe the line so everyones burritos are just getting dragged through old food making those food prices drop in other food🤮 and the icing on the cake was someone from the back of the line asked if they were out of anything and he said chips, queso, and a few other items.. why isn’t anyone saying anything as customers walk in or bare minimum put a sign on the door so that we know and aren’t waiting if we wanted said items??? Parked on the side of the store because they got so busy and it was literally impossible to leave when there are cars parked next to you and cars in the drive thru… overall horrible experience. I...
