Having been a customer of Gene's for nearly 15 yrs, I've found the people to be very nice, courteous & helpful. They have a lot of items, making it easy for us to find what we need near home & in the last minute. They serve an assortment of tasty breakfast sandwiches & meals, as well as, various lunches, which include hot dogs (very hard to find in many places). Overall, this is a very nice local convenience store with people that make you feel welcome. They really care about their customers. One final note..the hours are great for those who have longer working schedules..very convenient.
They have given their place a facelift and it looks so much better than before. They need to post a new picture because this one's way...

No eggs at all, I even told them not to put tomatoes, then was given lots of tomatoes. I went to complain. All they did was remove tomatoes but still no egg with lots of lettuce. My brother's food, the breakfast sausage, was dry, and French toast tasted off. He purchased an orange juice which was brown in color. From the previous post, I found out this place sells expire food and the kitchen is dirty. Hopefully, I don't get food poison. Oh, the owner did apologies saying it was his mistake and gave us candy. Lesson learn...

I took the food back and they exchanged it because they saw my orange juice was brown. And letās not mention the cleanliness of the cooking area. Disgusting. Today I went in to return a lighter that didnāt work and the owner Tells me heās not going to take it back or exchange it because itās the day after purchase. To lose a loyal customer over $2 is absolutely wild and speaks volumes on business and its owner. Local business owners are always not the answer, it might be best to stick with franchises...
