Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Pasadena

Me and husband had a long day so we decided to go to this establishment to get some chicken for our family. We spent almost $50. When I asked for bbq sauce for our jalapeños cheese bombers, one of the workers said it’ll be extra charge, because the sauces are ONLY for the tenders. So we left and I called the store to get the franchises number or a general manager number. The “manager” (so he says) answers the phone -FABIAN R.- I asked for a managers number, he says he don’t know what I’m talking about, I repeated I needed a number. He got loud and said he don’t have a number to give me and hung up on me. We just turned around and returned our whole order. We work to damn hard to spend almost $50 for bad service. We ended up going to the Church’s Chicken on Spencer Hwy by the beltway that is connected to a Shell gas station. The prices were cheaper, very clean establishment, and the service was excellent. And we didn’t get charged extra...

Idk if I ever left a bad review on this place(probably did) but after the service I had tonight I withdraw that bad review. Tonight Jamaya(hope I spelled that right) took care of me in the drive thru and he was awesome! Super nice and friendly. Usually when we come to this specific church's SOME, NOT ALL of the employees seem disgusted with their job just by the service they provide. Especially when u want spicy, oh goodness that's like the most hateful request from a customer, or so they make it seem. But we still always go back because the chicken is good and I don't regret my decision tonight. The strips were on point, the service, just everything. Jamaya if u read this keep up the good work. Church's ppl u need to give recognition where it's due and give this guy a raise or a promotion because he has been the nicest church's employee I have EVER encountered at any of your establishments. I’m giving this restaurant two stars because one the chicken was overcooked second of all the biscuits were old. You could tell by the taste. Thirdly, the okra was old. You can tell I have been sitting out for a long time.Last but definitely Not least, because I ordered an eight piece jalapeño bomber, and it was not given to me, even though I paid for it, and when I tried to call the store to tell The manager about it, it went straight to voicemail. Which means customers cannot get in touch with the store. All in all, it was very unprofessional and unsatisfactory.
