Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Pasadena

The food is great but service not so much. They have been extremely busy due to just opening so the lines have been to the door, which is to be expected. So be prepared to wait prior to going. They do usually get your food out fairly quickly which is a plus. But the seating arrangements & size of the restaurant are not good... It is externally difficult to get a table.

A couple weeks ago we had ordered our food and had our drinks in our hands and were waiting for a table to open up. We watched as several people who had not even ordered, rushed to reserve a table for themselves. We even walked over to a table & had a girl meet us there who had left her purse on the table to "reserve that table" so they could go order & she said "we're sitting here". At this point I asked to speak to a manager because we were getting irritated at the lack of courtesy. The manager was not helpful, slightly put off and responded with "there's nothing I can do, it's first come first serve."

If that is the case WHY are people who have already ORDERED their food having to wait. They were first in line. They aren't waiting to order. Definitely not good for a large...

Aight so I been coming here for a bit, and thus far have been pretty happy. But I think tonight is my last visit. I rolled up to the window to a very rude attendant. Who took my cash, gave me my change, and handed me a dripping wet bag. When I handed it back to her she acted like she had some sort of problem with the request, and had the same attitude when I asked for a drink carrier for my three shakes. But I ain't even mad about that. People have bad days, I get it. Humans are not machines, and can't be expected to always be little balls of sunshine. What I am mad about. Is that my order of three (3) burgers, two (2) fries, and three (3) shakes (all of which tasted great btw) came with zero (0) straws, two (2) napkins, and one (1) cup of fry sauce when I specifically asked for extra. I am not eating here again. I know that sauce is cheap, why y'all rationing that like it's rare or something? And how am I supposed to drink a shake with no straws? And y'all's greasy burgers need way more than a...

This was my first time visiting Freddy's, I went to the Pasadena location. I had a sweet tooth, saw an ice cream on the building and had to stop. Walked in and got distracted by how good the food smelled. The place was clean, with a welcoming atmosphere filled with families and friends of different generations enjoying themselves. I was overwhelmed by the menu with so many options. I apologize to Albert for taking my time and explained that it was my first time there. He made me feel welcomed and more than just a customer. He walked me through different options and told me I'm in for a treat. As my order was being prepared, the manager approached me to make sure I had been taken care of. I told him I was and praised Albert for making me feel like a valued customer. I will definitely return. The customer service was 10/10. I give the frozen custard a 10/10 as well. Got a cone and a mini oreo shake with peanuts on top. Albert was right, I was in for a treat and got way more...
