Yahaira's: A Fiesta for the Tastebuds! Let me tell you, folks, if you're searching for a breakfast that bursts with flavor and sunshine, look no further than Yahaira's Cafe! This Pasadena gem stole the show this morning with a Mexican food fiesta that had my entire family raving. First up, the Mexican omelet. Imagine fluffy eggs embracing a vibrant medley of chorizo, peppers, onions, and melty cheese. Each bite was a delightful explosion of textures and tastes. It was like a party in my mouth, and everyone was invited! Then came the breakfast burrito, a champion contender for the title of "Most Satisfying Breakfast Ever." This behemoth was packed to the brim with fluffy scrambled eggs, savory sausage, tender potatoes, and all the fixings. One bite transported me straight to flavortown, and let me tell you, the rent there is very reasonable! But Yahaira's magic extends beyond the food. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service friendly and attentive. It felt like we were being welcomed into Yahaira's own home for a delicious family breakfast. Here's the verdict: Yahaira's Cafe is a must-visit for anyone seeking a phenomenal breakfast experience. Their Mexican specialties are bursting with flavor, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is delightful. We left feeling happy, satisfied, and ready to take on the day. If you're in Pasadena, do yourself a favor and treat your tastebuds to a fiesta...

Parking: As expected, parking can be a hassle. There are a few spots along Colorado Blvd and street parking within a short walk. Not a deal breaker.
Facility Itself: The restaurant was clean and restrooms we're clean. Given COVID, the restaurant has set up small tables along Colorado Blvd and in a corridor on its west side. The chairs are those plastic, patio chairs. Not the best nor most comfortable.
Food: Breakfast Mexican Panini - chorizo and egg sandwich toasted in a Panini press served with fruit. Delicious. Mexican breakfast scramble - great flavor, but the spinach released to much liquid and made the eggs a little soggy...now we know. California omelette - delicious, just add salt and pepper. Chips, salsa & guac - the chips were seasoned with a non-spicy red mix that was great. The guac was good , but needed a little more cilantro, onions and perhaps a jalapeno. The had a hint of cinnamon and wasn't overpowering.
All in all, great experience and...
Read moreI walked into this small Mexican restaurant during lunch time in a cloudy/raining day, not too many people inside and this is the first I got in here. The service staff greeted me, showed me my seat, handed me their menu and he goes "how about some pork tacos with avocado and beams? that is today's special". Well, I appreciated his friendly recommendation and gladly accepted his suggestion without even ask the price.... Shortly, the tacos plate was served; these tacos are very good, much better than my expectation, seriously. Then, the bill came at $12.95 (plus tax) which is very reasonable. I also like the staff's attitude toward customer: actively providing recommendation while I feel very comfortable for the entire lunch. This is a great lunch, I walked out very...
