A car was parked in front of the drive thru so we could not go in to make an order. We walked to the door and saw 3 employees sitting at a table in the dining area and they waved us off, mouthing “we’re closed.” I proceeded to call them to clarify because the website states they should be open. The employee that answered the phone simply stated “we’re closed” and I had to persistently ask for further explanation. She stated there was a “business fire and something else.” She would not tell me what the “something else” was. When asked about reopening she stated “maybe 4 or 5.” I asked if they were closed because they had to clean up and she stated “yeah and something else.” It was important that we get BK for my grandfather who has not eaten the last 2 days because my grandmother was just put on life support and he’s been at the hospital with her. He told us he would eat a BK sandwich, so it was very disappointing that the store was closed when it was clearly regular business hours. I told the employee there is no indication that they are closed and maybe they should put up a sign or put it on the website. She said “we don’t control the website” and “we don’t have a sign to put up.” I would also like to mention there were no outward indications of a fire, including no fire trucks or cleaning company vehicles. I would hope Burger King’s policy for closing due to fire “and something else” would not be for an employee to block the drive-thru with a personal vehicle without putting any signage or indication of closing visible to potential customers. I would also hope BK instructs employees in customer service to treat customers with kindness and respect. Being rude to potential customers is no way to run a business and you never know what someone else is going through. For example, My grandmother is on life support and I’m trying to make sure my grandfather doesn’t starve himself in grief. Due to this unfortunate and dubious event we went to McDonald’s, where we were served quickly and the...
Read moreNot going back again! On this fine day we stopped for and order spicy nuggets, small fries and a spicy chicken sandwich. This was a drive through trip. The young lady greeted me with a "Hello, Hello!". I explained what I wanted and asked for two small waters. She said "We no longer sell water cups, is that all you want?". I said sure and pulled up to pay and get our lunch. I handed the young lady at the window my debit card, she grabbed it from swiped it and grabbed a sack and handed them to me and said "Here is your food" and closed the window. How very very rude! As we pulled away my wife looked in the bag and sure enough, no fries. I pulled back into the drive though. I explained we did not get our fries. The Lady shut the window, and a moment later came back and hand me a sack while she was speaking to someone else and shut the window. Very poor service. We parked to eat quick, and we discovered the fries and nuggets were old and the nuggets were some what wet. The chicken sandwich, well, a picture is worth a thousand words. Stay away...
