McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Pascagoula

I was super happy with my meal, distracted but excited by my date, overall wonderful experience. I had a pecan strawberry salad that was absolutely amazing (will order again) added to a club sandwich that generously hit the spot. The food was well put together and served in a timely manner. Made to order. There was a mix up on our ticket that was initially overlooked, corrected by staff, refunded immediately and brought to our attention. Honesty goes a 100mi. Shout-out to the staff that night. Awesome humans! 🥰 Super clean throughout the lobby. The kitchen wasn't super loud and it wasn't hard to get their attention, they were paying attention and greeted us immediately at the counter, and spoke to on our way out. I went to pick up an order for the people in my office and I. We paid $147.68 in advance and we never received a crumb of food. We sat at the drive up window for over 15 minutes after waiting 20 minutes in line. Employees walked by, looked at us but never came to the window. We confirmed that we arrived on the screen prior to going to the window. We went inside and asked about our order, after almost ten more minutes of run around they said that they could not make three of the sandwiches and two of the drinks and that we could pick substitutes and they would have it ready in 40 minutes. That would be close to 3 hrs after we made the order. We had to get back to work, put in vacation for the extra time at lunch with no food and never received a refund. Brand new McAlister's Deli right next to Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS. The service was excellent, the food was good and the atmosphere was comfortable.

Sydney did a perfect job taking our order. The layout of the dining room was nice and we appreciated the charging stations available on the large high table. There is a drive through pick up window and outdoor dining available at this location. The parking lot has only 1 entrance/exit which is my only complaint about this location.

I had the "choose 2": Half Spicy Southwest Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Tortilla Soup with unsweetened Iced Tea. The soup was extra spicy and the quality and flavor of my sandwich was on par with the other McAlister's I have visited.
