El Sabor Peruano Restaurant — Restaurant in Passaic

I built a core memory today, the day I found the best Peruvian Food in New Jersey. WOW! My expectations have been met and exceeded. The Chaufa was so good and such a large portion they clearly price the food knowing they are going to sell out. The ceviche mixto was amazing perfect lime and spicy level… I’ve always had to add lime or salt from other ceviches but not this one.

La atención y el ambiente muy bueno. La comida deja mucho que desear, le faltaba sabor, sal. Lo único agradable fue la jalea con poca sal pero lo más agradable, el ceviche espantoso y sin ají ni rocoto, la papa a la huancaína sin sabor y sin picante. No lo recomiendo.

En respuesta a tu comentario sobre que es con mal intención, te digo desde ya que mi intención no ha sido fastidiarte adrede, pero si considero que pagar por comer en un restaurante que según las reseñas tiene buen puntaje, me sorprende porque ahora entiendo que las reseñas positivas son compradas o realizadas por usted mismo.

Quiero pensar que el día que fuimos a comer que justo coincidió con el partido Ecuador-Qatar, es posible que al estar con mucha gente, la comida no fuera de mi agrado, porque de la atención no me puedo quejar, todas las camareras fueron muy atentas. Pero si me sentí decepcionada al ir a comer a un restaurante que se dice peruano y no sentir el sabor de mis raíces. Así que te repito, no fue mal intencionado o con mala fe, pero si ahora me desagrada que lo indiques cuando. Porque por otro lado, no puedes negar que no le pusieron picante a la papa a la huancaína ni al ceviche, es cierto, que si lo pides después te dan rocoto molido, pero cómo venden un ceviche sin picante y con trozos tan grandes de apio. En fin. De igual manera, espero que mejores tu sazón porque el ambiente y la atención...

The best Peruvian food I’ve tasted, and I’ve gone to many restaurants in NJ and NYC, nothing compares to the always freshly made and perfect seasoning they have. It’s real authentic Peruvian food as if you were back in Peru which I’ve visited a couple times as well. So I know what I’m talking about. I love Peruvian food so the drive from Hackensack to Passaic is nothing for good food!! Ten stars oh yea great...
