I have been here many times and always treated with a smiling face and the kindest attitude, but this morning was the complete opposite of everything I've ever experienced here. One of the workers after messing up both my order and my friends order started giving a rude attitude to me. He refused to make the order again properly even though I had paid extra for it. He then raised his voice at me and mockingly joked asking if I understood him when he was refusing my satisfactory customer needs. I then gathered myself and my pride because I did not want to fight over a silly bagel like he so made it his life goal to. Not only did he overcharge me for what I ordered, incorrectly made my order, ruined my morning, ruined my friends morning, and lost a loyal customer. I am ashamed they allow people like him to conduct business when he doesn't know the first rule about the food service industry(I would know because I took work in it) "the customer is...
Read moreI hate writing this because from day one we've really loved the bagels here but for the 3rd time in less than two months I've arrived before 0900 only to be told, "oh no we're out of that one." If you're continually out of your most popular bagel less than two hours after you open, perhaps the solution is to: A: make large orders of them pre-order only or B: make more of them.
What made today worse was being told, "you should go to Toasted, they'll definitely have some." While I appreciate the referral, I don't want to drive to the opposite side of town, I came here b/c it's in the neighborhood.
Such a shame this place can't figure out inventory b/c the owners and staff are incredibly kind, always very welcoming, and the bagels are great.
The owner is addressing the inventory to ensure large orders are done ahead of time to prevent walk-in customers from walking away...
Read moreI really wanted to love this. Their name pulled me in and the friendly service was so warm and welcoming. I ordered a build your own bagel sandwich on Asiago; the egg sandwich came out barely lukewarm, the avocado wasn’t ripe and tasted gross, and the bagel was not toasted (like they didn’t toast it at all, not that it wasn’t toasted enough) and was very very very stale. It was so hard I ripped one bite off as best I could and chewed until my jaw hurt. I love bagels, I know they’re a tougher bread by nature, but unfortunately I actually couldn’t bite or chew it at all, I’m 39, no dentures. It was so hard and just not it. Sorry to the person who helped me, you were great but yeah, the food was awful, I threw it away after one...
