Update: after going through all the reviews I can see that this location is really a no-no and lots of people bear the same sentiment about their work ethic and terrible customer service experience ughh. Which makes me feel better about my review. It’s so sad and they should be ashamed of themselves. Definitely never going here again.
I’d give zero stars if I could. You guys MUST fire the gay guy who works at this location. I didn’t catch his name and this is the only way to point him out; nothing against gay people. Anyways he was so rude yesterday to my hubby and I when all we did was ask if the store was closed just because the drive thru was completely dead and we waited at the speaker with no response for about 10 seconds. We got to the first pick up window then paused to check again which is when we finally saw there were in fact people seated and he was talking to a customer possibly. He was incredibly sassy, had a nasty attitude and kept responding like we were bothering him for asking him questions and assuming they had closed. I personally don’t like this location because of him because the last few times we’ve been there they have messed up our orders. This same guy once made my caramel ribbon crunch with half whipped cream on the bottom, then more whipped cream on the top. When I asked why it was filled with that much whipped cream he said in the most sassiest way that is how they’re told to make it. I was upset and got out of there as I hate confrontation. The next time was when my hubby’s grande was filled with ice and about 3 sips of his hazelnut coffee and it was as bitter as black coffee. Like what is the point of working there if they’re gonna do such a horrible job??? Something needs to change and it starts with firing that guy especially. Very terrible experiences which I never have at the other location inside of target. Those girls always have a smile on their faces and make the best tasting drinks so yesterday even after the nasty experience with that guy we drove to target to get my caramel ribbon crunch that I love so much!!!...

The customer service chat rep said there is nothing he can do after he held me up for 20+ minutes. Total waste of time. So don’t fall for it, they aren’t here to help, they are just covering their own a$$. ——————————————————————— I haven’t visited this store for a couple months (since the last time they messed my order up). I’m working in the area and GreenBean coffee is in my opposite direction of State College…. So, I decided to bite the bullet and give this place another chance.
Yesterday I ordered a generic grande drink, they completely filled the brim with ice. I was lucky to get 5 sips out of it and that isn’t even exaggerating. I believe they used a venti ice scoop for my grande drink. The ice was filled to the first line at the top… Total waste of $6.
Today (being stupid), I decided to try my luck again and ordered a venti cold brew, light ice, with the new peppermint mocha cold foam…. See picture… I asked the drive-thru worker why my cold foam is not cold foam, but bubbles and filled to that line???. His response and no joke was “sometimes they make it wrong.. sorry about that”… So you charge the customer additional $1.25 knowing it is completely wrong. It’s not his responsibility to inspect every drink, however it is the barista’s job to know when something ain’t right - and does that look right??
I’ll say it time and time again about this place. They half a$$ everything, nor are willing to learn on their mistakes. I’m not asking for an elaborate drink, I order their best sellers. So if they can’t even get that right along with their featured seasonal cold foam, then clearly it is a management issue.
Lastly, look at all the latest reviews - no one is rating this even an average Starbucks. All 1 star reviews. Save the $6-7 and go to another store where they know what they’re doing. Or just go to GreenBean because they get your basic...
Read moreThis specific location is the worst starbucks i have ever been to. and i am an avid starbucks fan. every time i go to this location it is a terrible experience. last time i placed a mobile order, it was said it was ready on my app. i then proceeded to wait 40 minutes for it drink that was not ready. there was no urgency to get anything made and the workers were just standing behind the counter talking. i finally got my order just for them to give me the wrong sandwich. this time, my friends and i mobile again for drive thru. again, our app said the drinks were ready. after waiting 30 mins in the drive through line, the worker says to us “none of ur drinks are ready you are going to have to park and come in and get them.” she gave us attitude and no explanation for anything. the customer service is the worst i have ever experienced in my life. you have a job, get it done. if you can’t, politely give me a valid reason why. She then told us that we can’t pick up more than 2 mobile orders in the drive through. then why does the app exist? we park and go inside just for our drink to be sitting there ready and watered down or cold. no stopper in our hot drinks. they didn’t say a single word to us either. never go here. even if ur life depends on it. chose a better location as...
