Jungle Byrd Eatery — Restaurant in Peachtree City

Some coworkers and I saw the reviews for Jungle Byrd and decided to try it out for lunch. The menu looked good, the restaurant is clean, and the cashier was new but very nice. I ordered the Caribbean Byrd and the Grilled Byrd. When they rang up the Grilled Byrd, I noted that the price was $11,00 and the menu price listed was $10,50. When I asked about the price discrepancy, the cashier said they weren't sure and asked the manager. The manager (I believe the owner) came out and explained that the prices had changed and that they hadn't updated the menu yet. When I politely explained that you can't list one price and charge another, her response was, "We will just take it off your order." I initially thought she meant that she would just take the $.50 off the order, but instead she removed the sandwich altogether. When I asked for clarification, she stated that they just wouldn't sell me the sandwich. I'm not trying to be a jerk, and I am by no means cheap; however, for a manager to take that stance with a new customer was disappointing. I will note that the Caribbean Byrd sandwich was very good, and I would have liked to have added this place to our lunch routine, but I can't support an establishment that responds to a customer's feedback in that manner. Saw an advertisement for this place and wanted to give it a try because it advertises fresh ingredients. Not disappointed! I got the seafood chowder and smoked kale salad. They were both delicious! Everything tasted very flavorful and fresh. I’m a big seafood fan and the chowder had an abundant amount of shrimp, scallops and salmon. Tasty combination. Also came with a piece of pressed bread (same bread used for the paninis) and it was really good. I am very interested in trying their paninis now. I’m not a huge kale fan, but I really enjoyed that salad’s unique smoked flavor. I like the proximity to the gym. Ideal to walk over after a workout and enjoy fresh, healthier food options. Convenient location, reasonable pricing, pleasant atmosphere with calming decor and friendly service. It has a large menu with a variety of unique items. Decent sized portions. We had the pleasure of dining at Jungle Byrd, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment we walked in, we were charmed by the vibrant, one-of-a-kind décor—playful, tropical, and full of personality. It's clear this place was created with love.

The food? Incredible. The Jamaican jerk chicken panini was packed with flavor and perfectly grilled. The creamy vegetable soup was comforting and rich, like a warm hug in a bowl. We also tried the Toucan smoothie, which was fresh and tropical, and the Iced Teddy Bear Latte—as adorable as it sounds and even more delicious.

What made the visit extra special was the owner herself. She personally made our meal and was so welcoming and passionate about what she does. It’s rare to find that kind of heart and soul in both the food and the atmosphere.

Jungle Byrd isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a whole vibe. We’ll definitely be back....
