Delivery Issues: I was expecting a delivery of several appliances (Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Cooktop) on 10.14.22. The gave a rather wide delivery window of 12p - 8p. I tried to call the day before to see if I could get an update on a smaller window. They told me they would contact me that evening or the morning of the delivery day. I did not receive any communication. I reached back out via the Chat option 2 different times to ask for updates. They assured me the delivery was on track and my items were on the truck. I eventually called in towards the end of the delivery window after waiting 7 hours. I was told the items were on the truck and they would escalate my inquiry and call me back. They didn't. I called back in and I was told by that person it was unlikely I would get my delivery, but they would escalate it and follow back up. They didn't either. 10.17.22 Still no call back. I called again on Monday and was told that I was talking to a supervisor. They said they would handle it and call me back. They didnt. 10.18.22 Still no call back. I called in again on Tuesday and she said that she would escalate it and it would take 24-48 hours before I heard something back. I emailed the store and the assistant manager said that was the right course of action and offered no additional resolution. 10.19.22 Still no call. I ended up calling in early afternoon. I spoke to a very apologetic customer service rep. She said she would contact her supervisor if I didnt mind being put on hold. When she came back, she asked if I could give her a couple hours and she would call me back. In the meantime, my scheduled delivery this Friday for an oven (separate delivery) appears to have been cancelled without explanation. 10.20.22 I had high hopes for the friendly customer service rep, but she also has not called me back either. I spoke to another customer service rep and another customer service rep supervisor. They said the best they can do is 7am to 7pm next Thursday which is an even wider window than the first time. I also mentioned the cancellation notice I received and they assured me it was on track to be delivered. However, on my end it says that I need to schedule delivery. They said I would need to go to the store to see about a "forced" delivery. I went ahead and had them reschedule everything to next Thursday 7am - 7pm including the Friday delivery. I have emailed the store and awaiting response. They had not responded the email I sent to their first response. 10.21.22 Posted on the Best Buy Facebook page yesterday. Someone named Tina asked that I PM my information over and she would try to help me. I sent the information over and still haven't received a response. I haven't received responses to two emails I sent the ASM. I have not received a response to the second email I sent the store. None of the people that said they would call back have called back. No resolutions to the mysterious "escalations" everyone said they were doing. No gift cards in the ole inbox. 10.24.22 Tina reached back from Facebook and said she is going to follow up with the scheduled delivery and reach out to the local Field Leadership Team. Rodricus, Retail Supervisor for the local store, responded to the emails I had sent in stating that he has added this order to his watchlist and will be in touch with further updates. Also, one of the first customer service representatives I dealt with reached back out saying he finally got an update from the warehouse. He mentioned they may have had trouble finding my items and thats why they didnt deliver. He didnt have any other updates and could only see that the delivery was scheduled for...
Read moreWORST SERVICE EVER!! NEVER AGAIN!! Family members went here looking for a specific item. The person at the front entrance behind the "velvet role" states to them, "What do you want?" When they told the associate what they were looking for, the person said "Oh." And they were permitted in. When they asked the person again, where the item was, they gave the appearance that they didn't care. The associate explained that they were "Taking a different approach with customers." Hearing this, I was as shocked as my family members. They have given the complete appearance that they DO NOT want customers in their store, or want to deal with them. My family members were directed to another associate within that was able to help them further and find what they had came in for. This experience has detoured me from ever setting foot into this location, and has me looking elsewhere for any future business with Best Buy. ATTENTION BEST BUY CORPORATE: You will be going the way of Circuit City in no time with customer service like this. "Best Try"
UPDATE 1/25/2021: So, family member went back to this "Best Try," as they believe that sometime, a store is having a bad day. I can respect that. Upon speaking with a representative, they asked someone to assist in a certain area. The associate informed her that they didn't know anything about that area of the store and walled away. The family member spent fifteen minutes (yes, it was timed) looking for another store associate. Finally finding someone, the Asso. looked up the item on thuer computer and advised that it was in Newnan. He furthered advised that they could download and app, order it, and then go pick it up there. The family member informed the Asso. that they weren't going to download the app, and would just have to drive to Newnan and pick it up in person. Family member informed the Asso. that they were afraid they would not be returning to the Peachtree City location again, and would conduct their business with Newnan. The Asso. snidely remarked, "Have a blessed day."
Family member arrived at the Newnan store, and was greeted with friendly door greeter. They were asked politely by the front roped in area, "How could they help them." They family member was directed to the proper area, where a Hospital Team Member assisted and guided them to exactly what they needed. Read moreEvery time we go to this store it makes me remember why I hate coming to it. I have never been there and ask for help and someone actually help me. We went in two weeks ago to buy a new printer for the office and we needed help in the printer section, which is in the back of the store. One employee started back that way and he saw me trying to get his attention and he immediately changed directions as if trying to avoid us. I walked a little faster and caught up to him on his new route and he scoffed when I asked him for help or to just get someone that could please help us. He said he would send someone back. (This is exactly what happens every single time we try to buy anything in this location) We waited and waited and waited, other people walked in and if you're looking for something in the very front of the store, they will help you buy if you pass the middle of the store, you're just out of luck! No one ever came. Two other employees passed by the area and I politely asked them for assistance, one responded with, "this isn't my section and I'm going to break" and the other actually laughed and said, "sure, I'll send someone back here to help you, we close in 20 minutes so y'all need to start making your way out of the store. " I was so mad about the atrocious customer service at this store, it never changes, they set the standard on the absolute worst customer service possible. We waited 10 more minutes and just left and bought the printer at wal mart for $400. I won't ever do business with this Best Buy unless there is major change that happens at this location. The area it's in, I really expect more from such a big name brand. If you're not going to treat your customers with the upmost respect and be helpful in every way possible, then you should just close yours doors. I've never experienced such bad customer service as I do every time I try to buy anything from this Best Buy in Peachtree City, Ga 30269. Update..... They're the absolute worst. Especially the blue haired manager that was working tonight. Terrible customer service every.........
