My experience here is extremely poor. It’s not the first time that this has happened to me and it’s a continuing issue at this location. A associate by the name of Kim told me she could help me after she was done. Kim isn’t pleasant when it comes to helping customers she’s bland and seems as if she hates her job or just has a miserable life. As I was waiting for Kim to come back and helped me the manager on duty Lloyd asked is someone helping me I responded to him by letting him know I was waiting on Kim to help me once she was done. As I waited over 10mins with no other customers in the store I grabbed a chair and waited some more for Kim to come and help me. Instead other customers came into the establishment and were helped instead of coming to help me as she stated I waited patiently while her and the manager Lloyd continued to take other guests and having me to continuously wait for period of time. I took a 3min video of me and my 1yr daughter waiting while the continued on with help others and looking at something on Kim’s computer. I notice that the customers where white while I was the only colored not being helped. I know for sure now that Kim and the manager on duty were are bias against people of their own color. By my experience I can tell that they aren’t professional nor do they care for people of color either. The entire time I was there I called the corporate office of Staples and they too could not get a hold of anyone at the store to address the issue at hand or help me because I had been waiting at this point for over 20mins. I had to walk around and ask around to find someone who could help me while corporate was on the phone with me. Austin was extremely polite and kind enough to help me while everyone else around me let me sit in a chair with a screaming baby while waiting on Kim who had no intentions on coming back to help me with the self serve printer in the first place. If we had more associates like Austin everyone would and could get the same equal treatment no matter of race/color. I hope that corporate fires Kim and the manager Lloyd for giving poor customer service and also being bias to people of color. I hope that corporate gives Austin and raise and the opportunity as a manager because he should concern and was willing to help me knowing I was there for over 20mins by the time he helped me. I never once complained or was rude to Kim or Lloyd for the unprofessional customer service nor did I create a scene. I politely called the store to talk to Lloyd about my situation with him and Kim and he asked a question during the conversation but was not willing to let me speech and I gave him his chance to speak and talked over me because I simply stated how he and Kim were bias against me because of the service they didn’t give me and had me waiting for periods of time and mentions the fact that he was colored as well. Again everyone before me was white and was helped. Me I was told to wait and Kim would be right over. During my wait more white customers came in and were helped while I sat and sat watching everyone of not colored after me getting help. When I mean people of color are bias to their own. Thank again Austin for helping me I was able to pick up my son to take him to Speech Therapy!!!! I hope and pray you will be the manager on duty instead of unprofessional customer service...
Read moreWorst Customer Service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I would give zero stars if I could. We went to this store's back-to-school savings event and bought several products that were expensive but offered rebates such as a Multi-paper Box that was priced around $55.99 and promised a rebate value of $41. However, when we went online to apply the rebate promotion code, we received a message stating "This product is ineligible for rebates." We tried to complain to general manager (old man with glasses) but he was incompetent and new nothing about this service. To save face, he tried to sweeten the deal by providing us coupons to use on our next purchase. But in reality, he just wanted to push us out of the store and left us hanging on our problem. Checkout service was awful as well. A blond woman helped us when we bought some items during the sales event had an attitude problem when we asked her several questions about the rebate and return policies. She was definitely having a bad day, but there was no reason to take it out on the customer. THIS IS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE SHOPPING AT STAPLES AND WILL...
Read moreSold a large item an ebay that I needed to ship on a Sunday. This was THE WRONG PLACE to go for help. When I walked in there was one employee sitting on a stool doing something on her phone and another down the counter working on what looked like a craft or display. I stood there for a minute and then intentionally made some noise so one of them would know I was there. I got no verbal response. They both just looked at me. I told the girl playing on her phone that I needed help shipping something. She pointed to an isle and said that was where shipping supplies could be found. I asked if they had a way for me to ship a box this large. She said if they did it would be on that isle. I said, "I thought if I came here you would help me with the best way to ship it." The girl working on the craft slammed down whatever it was she was working on and said, "okay, if you want us to help ship it, it will be $11.00." "I asked, is that what it cost to ship this?" Her response, "No, that is what it would cost for us to help you ship it." I realized the Post Office employees weren't so...
