I've always appreciated the options Aldi provides, but they've gotten too cocky with their prices, especially not carrying a full range of products, parking lot cart terminals, which I actually appreciate the system they have, including no plastic bags, but it should reflect in the prices as well. I spend less at Publix where I have more product availability, quality, and good customer service with associates who practice manners, unlike at this Aldi. I encountered 5 workers this past visit and all but one showed inconsideration. One genuinely smiled in passing. Thank you. One was climbing the produce shelf and all but pushed me out of the way as I was reaching for an item. She just kept stepping over and when her bum got within 3 inches of my face, I moved. Um, excuse you! Another parked a large cart in front of the section he clearly saw me viewing, completely blocking access. I will say excuse me if I need in but certain circumstances, I shouldn't have to. He had plenty of room to park the cart 3 feet back. It's just inconsiderate. It's okay, There are other places I can spend my $, or since they're now more expensive than Walmart next door, $$. Another was a large cart issue. Maybe Aldi needs to get rid of their large stocking carts or train their employees on proper use. Then there's the checkout. This has always been 50/50, can go either way with friendly or rude. Honestly, I don't care if they're friendly or not, and I appreciate their push to make checking out a speedy process, but when you throw my paid for items into the cart and they break open, you need to slow your roll. I don't like being rushed through only to have to waste more time returning a product when I find it's been damaged because of inconsideration. And it was a cake in a container and was not that way before checkout because I checked it when taking it from the shelf and again when leaving it on the conveyor. We all know how they do the grocery toss at checkout. She actually wasn't rude to me during checkout, but I heard her being inappropriate to the woman behind me. I can't see any reason for me to return here. If the prices helped me save money, it might be worth it, but I don't think there was one single product I picked up that was cheaper than Walmart or a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI experienced very terrible customer service. I checked out with a young lady with dark hair, and I had just bought a keychain tool that works like a quarter in the slot for the cart. Well, when I came to check out I didnāt think about the switching of the carts. I went to pop it out and you canāt do that unless you lock it in to the other one . Thatās on me , shouldnāt have bought the tool but I thought it was a nice time saver for me because I never have a quarter. The clerk silent called for a manager I guess and she came out and scolded me in front of a whole line of customers saying I will break the cart with it. I know I was in the wrong , but she spoke to me like I was a child and embarrassed me. I had to transfer my groceries to my original cart and found that they busted my package of yogurts while I was transferring them to and they did not care . The cart locked back in perfectly fine when I put it back and someone else unlocked it with their quarter , so I did not break it . I will not be back to this location to be treated like this again. The clerk and the manager both had black hair , and I was check out around 12:15 pm on. March 9th , 2024 . Iām disappointed because I love these stores and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience at Aldiās was like any other grocery storeāquick, straightforward, and to the point. The layout was easy to navigate, and I was able to find most of what I needed without much trouble. Prices were affordable, as always, and I appreciate the variety of store-brand options that help keep the bill low without sacrificing too much quality.
The staff was efficient, especially at checkout. They scanned items quickly and kept the line moving, though you do have to bag your own groceries, which is typical for Aldi. The store was clean and well-stocked for the most part, though a few shelves were a bit bare in certain sections.
All in all, it was a standard Aldi tripābudget-friendly, efficient, and reliable for...
