Hit and Miss. Sadly, more often, it's a miss. The food is usually decent. The service, not always good (50/50). The prices are a little high for what you get and their kids eat free offering is a joke. I have been burned at the cash register many times. You think you know what you are asking for. . .nope, it's actually more expensive then that. So, go on kids eat free night, splurge on yourself (the kids are eating free afterall). Go to pay and learn kids only eat free after 5. My mistake. Next time you learn it doesnt include their drinks. My mistake. Next time you learn it excludes the happy plate. My mistake. Next time you learn it stops at 7:30pm (or some other nonsense that means you cant get the deal). That is always the case. Bottom line, it will cost you more than you are expecting, even on kids eat free night (or better yet kids eat free hours). Sometimes you won't get straws, other times they will bring you the queso you ordered in the wrong size and you pay 8 dollars because they brought you the medium even when you said small queso. Your next visit will have good food. You next visit will be at a dirty table with bad setvice. Your next visit will be across from the bathroom and stink. Your next visit will be good. Your next visit will make your curse the day you were born. The next visit you wait 30 mins for the check when there are only 2 other tables being used. The only way to visit this place is to expect to pay about 10 more than what you think you ordered, then maybe you wont be...
Read more2.5 stars- 1 for food, 2 for overall service, 5 for our server. Boyfriend and I equally unimpressed, though I’ve seen this place for years passing through Brandon and was eager to try it. The good: when we finally got a server, Hunter, he was precious, fast, attentive, and sincerely apologetic for the wait- great server, could make a killing at a place with quality food. The country boy who sat us and got us drinks was very pleasant too (think he is Bubba); it’s just unfortunate that after 20 or so minutes at the host stand, he was the first person to acknowledge us or the lady and child in front of us. The bad: it wasn’t that busy to be so chaotic, but that happens some nights in food service... been there. The main bad: the food! 😔 chips- half burnt, half crushed. salsa-we feel like it was fire roasted from a jar with maybe crushed tomatoes added. Cheese dip- def a jar or can👎🏻 (I was thinking it, the bf said it). Asked if flautas could be corn tortillas (like they should be), kitchen said no. Ordered carnitas Mexican tacos, they came in flour🤯 with very dry meat. My whole plate must have been under a lamp for a while waiting cuz the beans and rice were dried out too. BF’s plate was fresh though, but his Chile Rillenos were lacking and tasted like pre-packaged ingredients. Price would be fair if...
Read moreNot clean, bathrooms are filthy and probably the cause of our getting sick (due to kitchen staff unwashed hands). My wife, son and I all got food poisoning. We ordered entirely different things, and my son got burger and fries.
We ate here 1/10/24. My wife and son got real sick that night. The next day it hit me. My wife got over it within 12 hours or so, but my son and I stayed sick for at least a week. We thought that was it but it wasn't. My son and I both had to go to GI doctor. After two months, diagnosis and treated with strong antibiotics, my son got better.
I on the other hand have not. Still having tests done and hoping to get treated. It's been three months now. I still have major issues and can't eat much. My son and I have same symptoms and he was diagnosed with Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth, stemming from food poisoning we all received at this restaurant.
Needless to say, we won't be back. Pain, suffering and doctor bills from dirty unsanitary restaurant. Eat here at...
