Biryani King – Pearland, TX Back again and it’s still the real deal. – Legit.🔥 Second review here : I came back to Biryani King to see if my last amazing experience was just a lucky day or a one-hit wonder. Turns out, it wasn’t luck—this place is consistent and legit. Last time, I had the vindaloo—spicy and packed with bold flavor. This time, I went with the chicken tikka masala, and it was just as incredible, with a rich, creamy sauce and the perfect balance of spice and flavor. The garlic naan? Warm, fluffy, and slightly crispy—exactly how it should be. The basmati rice was cooked to perfection. And the mango lassi? Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—cold, smooth, and refreshing. I showed up around 1pm so it wasn’t packed, but honestly, I’m surprised this place isn’t busier. It deserves the hype. I drive 40 minutes to Pearland for work and make it a point to stop here every time. The staff is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and the food never disappoints. All of this, plus a bottled water, came out to $23.23. Worth every penny. I left full, happy, and already looking forward to next time. If you’re on the fence—stop thinking. Just go. This place has officially earned a spot on my Houston-area favorites list. First review here : Tried this spot on a whim and left impressed. Mango Lassi – Super refreshing and clearly made fresh. The yogurt flavor came through a little more than I like, but it was still creamy, smooth, and satisfying. Great balance of sweet and tangy. Chicken Vindaloo – This one came to play. The heat hits in all the right places—spicy but not overpowering—and the chicken was tender, juicy, and well-marinated. Paired with perfectly cooked, fragrant basmati rice, this dish felt like a complete win. Garlic Naan – Soft and fluffy with a nice crisp edge here and there. The garlic wasn’t overpowering, which I appreciated—it added flavor without stealing the spotlight. Great for scooping up sauce. Portions were solid and filling without going overboard, and the price point was more than fair for the quality. Service – Friendly and helpful. The guy behind the counter walked me through a few menu items and helped me pick the right heat level. Chill and welcoming vibes all around. Final Verdict: 9/10 Bold flavors, good heat, fair price, and friendly service. Definitely coming back. 🔥🍛🫓🥭

Visited this new Indian food joint in Pearland for lunch with my family. A nice place with good flavored food, and I hope they continue to grow and improve. Here's my take on the place: Pros: 1. Great flavor. Normally Indian places heavily westernize the flavor a.k.a. cut out the spices. These folks didn't skimp on it. Bold spicy flavors that were to my liking. 2. Portion size is BIG! Each of the biriyani plates would easily satisfy 2 hungry mouths... or 3 diet conscious people. 😉 3. Food was prepared fresh and hot. Nothing felt like it came out of a can. 4. Had the Dublee Ka Meeth dessert and it wasn't overly sweet, which was great. Can't stand it when restaurants overdo sweetness just because it's a dessert. 5. Biriyani is not greasy. To me, it makes it more palatable. Cons: 1. It wasn't crowded at all. In fact, our party of 6 were the only folks there. They had a number of to-go orders going through. If the restaurant was full, I wonder if the wait staff (1 person) would be able to cope. 2. The decor is ... well, nothing at all. Some interior decoration and lighting would create a good ambience.

We get biryani to go here all the time and I don’t know why I haven’t left a review yet. It’s always consistently good with a generous portion size. I have picky biryani lovers in my home and they all approve. We come here at least twice a month. There ratio of meat to rice is perfect. The biryani flavors are on point and it’s not overly spicy. Our faves are the chicken 65 biryani, boneless chicken biryani, goat biryani and classic chicken on bone biryani. You can’t go wrong with any of them. Best of all it’s a small family business so they really put their heart and effort into the food. The food tastes authentic. Try it and you’ll definitely be back!

It is actually sad that people want the best of the best service from a business when they just started, when they are not even open fully (had their soft opening recently). This is in response from their customer to the post from another customer, Ms. Paulami Sarkar. This is not personal as I have no vested interest in this business but if you worked for me and I did your annual review in the first week, would that be fair?

Let me make it clear, I sell Technology and have nothing to do with this restaurant and I get a kick and joy when people succeed. So I'm happy to help. It is disheartening that people write negative reviews before they are formally open. I picked up food from these people and my experience was fantastic. They told me they were short staffed because of Covid. It does not take a business person to figure out what is going on in the service world or business world in general. Yes, it is frustrating when your order is late but you don't take it to the internet and blabber out without understanding how it could impact someone's business. They invest sweat, blood, money, and work hard. Give them a chance, at least while they are figuring it out. Thanks in advance if you can give them time (by removing negative reviews) and suggest writing a review a few months later based on actual experience.

Poulami Sarkar 2 reviews a day agoNEW The food was good but service and communication was terrible. I placed an order and was told to pick up in 30 minutes, the food was not ready even after one a half hour and the management did not seem sorry or cared. Finally it took more than 2 hours and I need to make multiple trips to the store because of lack of clarity in communication. They are new and hopefully this will improve with time but at this point attitude towards customer is...
