For the record, this is only the second time I ate at this restaurant and the first time was fantastic. (The reason we came back.) This time was the complete opposite. It was the worst experience I had. I should’ve spoken to a manager before I left but I failed to. We had a reservation for 6:30pm yesterday (Monday, June 16th) and got seated right away. We waited for everyone to arrive in our party - 9 of us - and my sister-in-law was the only one late. We ordered our food 15-20 mins after our arrival. The restaurant had other large groups as well. It took ONE HOUR to get our food. Thank God for the chips on the table! We saw all the other large parties getting their food in a decent time frame while we sat around waiting for ours. My husband and I got the same platter: Mexican Flag Enchiladas and here is the description: Chicken enchiladas covered with 1 roja sauce, 1 sour cream sauce & 1 verde sauce, served with rice, refried beans & avocado salad. ALL THREE of my enchiladas were GROUND BEEF. I did not want ground beef. I wanted chicken as the entree stated it would be. That’s why I ordered that dish. My husband got one ground beef and two fajita beef. I told our waitress, Priscilla, and she said she wrote chicken down so she doesn’t know why they cooked them like that. Ummm okay. Then she offered for them to make them with chicken but I already waited an hour for this to come out; I told her I can’t wait another hour for my correct order. Another waitress was with her (I didn’t get her name) & she was trying to figure out what to do also. On top of that, my brother-in-law never got his dish while we were all eating. We were almost done so he asked Priscilla just to pack it “to-go”. How crazy is this?!! Priscilla didn’t offer to comp the incorrect entrees (two of them) or do anything extra about my brother-in-law’s situation. We split the bill as this was a Father’s Day dinner and paid for everything as if it was correct. (I blame my husband for this and not speaking up.) I will never go back to this establishment. It seems to be run poorly. Management should talk to the cooks and figure out how they can mess up this much on one table and not have everyone’s meal out when ordered at the same...
Read moreHad a really nice first time experience here yesterday. Service was fast and our waiter was super nice and efficient. The chips are nice and thick. And though I did enjoy the salsa, I do wish it was a little thicker. I wasn't a fan of the queso blanco. It had more of a peppery flavor than the cheesy flavor you expect from queso, but it wasn't bad by any means. I had the beef fajita quesadillas, they were very delicious & just as good the next day as leftovers. My family also enjoys their meals (Chicken California & Beef Fajitas). The beans were also really good and creamy. As for the rice, I don't think there was anything particularly special about them, but I didn't dislike them. The margaritas were wonderful and definitely did their job. I love that they have multiple flavor options, and even their small margarita is a VERY decent size. My only disappointment was the tres leches cake. It's one of my favorite cakes and definitely something I look forward to at the end of a TexMex meal. But there's unfortunately, super bland. The cake portion does have a nice texture, and it is saturated in the milk as it should be, but it's lacking flavor. And the whipped topping had no sugar or vanilla in it, so it tastes just like plain heavy cream. One of the best parts of our experience was the price. Everything was so reasonably priced that we thought something was left off the bill when it came. Overall, we had a really nice time and a great experience. We'll definitely be going back to try more...
Read moreAs someone who loves a great night out, I have to give a huge shoutout to Vallarta. This place is a gem, especially if you're looking for a lively atmosphere with incredible food and drinks. The staff here truly makes the experience. The servers and bartenders are always on point—friendly, attentive, and great at what they do. It's clear they take pride in their work, and it makes every visit a pleasure.
Now, let's talk about the food and drinks. Everything I've tried has been fantastic. They have some delicious Tex-Mex dishes, like the sizzling Fajitas and savory shrimp enchiladas. The menu also has great variety of appetizers, like nachos, perfect for sharing. No matter what you order, you can tell it's made with care.
The best part, for me, is Thursday night. It's Ladies Night, which is already a great deal, but they also have live mariachis! The music adds so much energy and fun to the evening. Coupled with a great happy hour, it's the perfect way to spend a night out. Needless to say, Thursdays are my favorite...
