Update 7/2/ 2024: STILLLLLLLL THE BEST JASONS DELI EVER! It's the ginger muffins for me every time! I wish they could give me the recipe and then move one to Alvin. Rather uproot this one and move it! They have the same manager and he ensures this store is tip top! Caught him cleaning today!!! Shout out to the cashier today! She's not even aware she's helping with my pregnancy.
UPDATE 2023: I've been back several times since this last review all was well until last night. Idc, when the manager I posted below is not IN THE BUILDING the food us always subpar for some reason. I ordered $58 in food then turned around and purchases another $15 for soup and ginger muffins. Only to get home and have cranberries in my dam CB potato with thus sliced chicken (which by the way is not the normal cubed chicken they usually use) I've spoken to the manager about this several times and others as well. Just glad I'm not allergic. Not to mention the kids potatoes were stiff with barely any cheese and bacon. Who's kids are eating this. Now I have a fridge full of potatoes. It sucks honesty. For as much money and time I spend writing these you'd think they could hold the cranberries next time. This review was my experience I'd still go back and it's one of the VERY few I'd recommend this for. The service was still good. Just that darn potatoe situation I can't get with I came for the food. The service was complimentary. #RenaissanceMomApproved
boi ol boi customer service from this guy is superb. Always, and that's hard, but he's always friendly. And if I'm being honest the people on staff when he manages does a better job. He needs a raise ASAP! The ice cream is delicious. It's a bit hidden on Broadway but...
Read moreThis has to be the worse experience I've ever had at a Jason's Deli. The food was good, but I was horrendously overcharged. what made it worse was when I brought it to the manager's attention he tried to make it seem like it was my fault I was over charged. I ordered two Muffaletta Specials and was told that they come with any two sides, chips, fruit, soup or salad. My wife wanted chips and soup, I wanted soup and a salad. Not only was I charged a dollar surcharge for the salad but for some reason I didn't understand, nor was it explained to me I was charged 3.69 for the soup !!!! When I told the manager his comment was I should have known the salad was extra. I told him the girl named the sides and told me I had my choice of any two. He grabbed my ticket and told me he was going to refund the price of the two drinks, not enough money for what I was over charged 3.69 + 1.00 vs 3.98. But again he made it seem it was my fault. I'm not even going to mention the fact that we ordered the sandwiches without that nasty olive compote stuff they put on them and had to scrape it off.Bottom line is check your bill before you leave the register here. Okay, off to make a...
Read moreStaff here are personable and exceptional, deserving special mention is Ms. Toni, who has very rare skill and consideration. Most often we use the drive-thru, with our dog Buddy. When we dine inside, on some evenings or weekends, it seems the salad bar is in high demand and at times may need certain things restocked. Usually this happens regularly, but I believe with Covid, Jason's Deli (or at least this location) only allows one visit to the salad bar. Imagine the bitter tears one might shed if, by the "luck of the draw", you approached the salad bar to find it was lacking "whatever" (say the pasta salad) that you had your heart set on? I'm not sure how to resolve such a situation. It doesn't take the most wicked imagination to presume that some individuals "do" go up to the salad bar for "seconds." It hadn't crossed my mind until writing this review. I'm not sure how such an act is monitored or stringently enforced. What I mostly order is the penne pasta with meatballs. If inside I will add pineapple chunks with their truly remarkable dipping sauce. We actually made it at home once, which caused us to purchase a bottle of...
