I finally decided to try Daboba in Pearland after hearing so many people talk about it, but honestly, I don’t think it lives up to the hype. The drinks are definitely overpriced for what you get, and the taste just doesn’t justify the cost. I’ve had plenty of boba from other places around the area that were cheaper and tasted better. The presentation looks nice, but that’s about the only thing that stood out to me.

I ordered one of their signature drinks, and while it looked Instagram-worthy, it was lackijg honey and didn’t have much depth of flavor. For the price they charge, I was expecting something more balanced and higher quality. It just felt like I was paying for the name rather than the drink itself.

We came at a good time when there weren’t many people, so the service was quick and the atmosphere was calm. The place itself is modern and clean, which I did appreciate.

The one genuinely good thing I can say is that the bathrooms were very clean. It’s a small detail, but it does make a difference when a place keeps that part well-maintained.

Overall, I’d say Daboba is overhyped and overpriced. It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely not worth the buzz it gets. I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon when there are plenty of better, more affordable boba...

The drinks are so good, but one thing I will say is the price. I paid over $9 for a large drink and they also charge .50 for half ice, (without acknowledging it) but if you see my picture, the ice doesn't look like it's half at all.

I understand having to pay for half ice, but if I'm paying over $9 for just 1 drink, then I expect them to at least follow the orders. If that was how they charge, then me asking for no whipped cream should've made my drink cheaper, but newsflash, it was the same.

After drinking my drink, there's still a lot of ice left over. Again, the drink is so good, but the price is preventing me from wanting to come as often as I would like to, especially with the small amount of drink I get.

extra side note: to make the most of my purchase, I wanted to gain points with their reward system, but the cashier quickly skipped over that screen and I had to manually ask to...

I tried Daboba for the first time at this location in Pearland, I was pleasantly surprised with how good the drinks were! The baristas were kind enough to let me sample the plain jasmine and oolong tea before I decided on my drink. They actually brew the tea nice and strong here which I LOVED, because lots of milk tea shops’ tea tastes very watered down/ weak as if they don’t steep it long enough. I got the cheese green tea with only 50% sugar and fell in love! The tea had the perfect sweetness, yet it was still strong, and the cheese foam was thicc (with two C’s) which is the perfect consistency. The foam did not dissipate into the drink quickly like other places. The service was also very fast and consistent. We were in and out in less than 5-10 minutes and the drinks tasted the same every time I visited this location. I will be back and highly recommend this location over the...
