Associates at this location are RUDE.
I was gifted a bracelet from the Galleria location and was told I could have it downsized at any location.
Decided to take Zales up on the offer at the Pearland location and was met with a condescending associate (older woman with glasses and white hair in a short lob cut).
I was questioned immediately with if it was even a bracelet. (Maybe she thought it was an anklet).
As I informed her I wanted 5 links to be taken off as the bracelet had slipped off of me, I was told âI donât think we can do thatâ and âitâs not even worth shortening it for 5 linksâ. I informed her I was told by the Galleria location it wouldnât be an issue.
Then she takes the bracelet and starts talking about having the links cut off. I stated I wanted to keep the link for future use if needed. She stated âthey will just cut them offâ and another associate corrected her stating to specifically indicate on the ticket âwants to keep the linksâ.
And then questions why I donât just clasp the bracelet tighter and have the excess links hang loosely off of the clasp.
At this point, after all of the convincing this particular associate has done, Iâm certain she plainly does not want to work with me. If I wanted to wear the bracelet in that manner, I would have.
Iâm baffled as to why she was rushing the interaction when there were 3 associates in the store and only 2 customers (myself and another). The store was not busy. It was a Thursday afternoon (6/27/3019) 3:50pm.
This associate worked harder in finding ways to NOT do her job rather than just try to help find a solution.
If it is not a part of the protection plan in having resizing, I am not sure why Zales would advertise as such.
Im pretty disgusted by the interaction, the pushiness, the lack of attempting to hear what I was saying, the dismissiveness.
Overall, do not recommend this store to anyone unless you want to be met with condescending associates.
Will attempt the Zales in Galleria before I put off Zales...

Iâve been met with nothing but rude, disrespectful, and condescending communication from multiple associates at this location but especially Mario. The only reason I came back to this location to do business because the first associate I met, Adi, was very kind and helpful and seems to be the only person with those demeanors. However, unfortunately she was only there temporarily and works at another location. I still continued to do business at this location because it is the closest Zales to me and I did not anticipate the mannerism Iâve been dealing with so far. My first issue, I felt as if I was not met with kindness or a âwelcomingâ attitude until it was discovered I was actually purchasing something at that moment. Thinking back on it now, if I wasnât so eager and excited to make this purchase (Iâve wanted it for along time) I wouldâve left right after I got that vibe. After I made my purchase I left it that same day to get sent into repairs due to some changes I wanted to make on it. Which leads to my second issue, every time I called after with questions in regard to my repair, I received the run a around and as I mentioned earlier, attitudes and rude communication. One call that stuck with me tremendously and led to me being so upset with Zales is that when I called having concern that the requests I was giving was not being passed along to the repair shop, Mario condescendingly laughed and stated to me âWell thereâs nothing else we can really do, all we can do is put in a note and if the repair shop doesnât see it I mean i donât know what else to say,â⌠Overall to make a long story short, this experience has made me question doing business with Zales as a franchise ever again. I will say I am never coming to this location again to do business and will definitely not recommend anyone...
   Read moreJan 13 I dropped off my ring to get it cleaned and re dipped (itâs a white gold ring) a week later I drive out there to pick it up only to see that itâs yellow.. they send it off again to be redipped couple days later we get a call that my ring is ready to be picked up. We drive out there (bout 30 min drive for us) only to be told theyâd sent the ring back because it had a missing stoneâŚ. Ok fine we wouldâve appreciated a call before weâd driven out there but ok.. no biggie.. few days later we get a call that my ring is ready we go to pick it up and guess what? All my little diamonds have been replaced with blue stones! I ask to speak with the manager.. she says sheâll get me a ring that itâll need to be replaced⌠Iâm not happy about it but I love that specific style ring so I say ok.. fast forward two rings that are exactly like mine are now at the store we drive up there for me to choose one I do that only thing needed is for my ring to be sized my ring is 4.1/4 they send it off.. a week later we get a call that they made a mistake and the ring is 6.5 ok they send it off today which is yet another week later and guess what another call saying thereâs a problem that the ring hasnât been cleaned and theyâre sending it back! What in the world?! How? It was a new ring! We have been more than patient I am extremely upset and would advise you to save yourself the headache and disappointment and go somewhere else for...
