We stopped here for dinner while out on a drive. The building doesn't look like much but the service was fast and neighborly-friendly and the food was De-Licious! Husband had the tilapia and I had beef tips & rice. Both were excellent!! The beef was exceptionally tender and hubby's fish was perfectly cooked. There was a bit of a wait for the entrees because this is a real, down home, homecooked from scratch, tasty meal, but the salads came out less than 2 minutes after we placed our order and were accompanied by a basket with 3 kinds of crackers. So, plenty to ease any belly rumbling until your entree arrives. We were so full after our meal that we couldn't fit anything more, even sweets, but the pies looked wonderful in their glass case. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the menu stated sides were your choice of fries, baked potato or "vegetable" and when I asked what the veggie was, I was told there was not one that day which gave me the options of either changing my order or doubling up on my carbs since beef tips already came with rice. Not terrible, but I really would have liked the veggie option. Overall, definitely not a place to be missed if you're in the area. Sidenote : parking is extremely limited in front of the building but there is additional parking in the Verizon...

We came here from across the street after visiting my grandmother at the funeral home.

My grandfather told us, him and my grandmother came there on their wedding night (thats why we came).

Walk in, its about 4pm, not dinner rush, place had maybe 5 tables if lucky upstairs, ask to seating 11, only 9 came in to eat. Get told we have to go down stairs, I inform them we can not seat down stairs, as my grandfather is handicap. Get an attitude from hell from the serve, cause she is the only one working the upstairs, mind. Once again. Its not busy upstairs AT ALL.

We seat, and from the moment of the drink orders, to the moment of serving food, mind the entire time we are all nice as can be, we had a shitty attitude server.

We receive our food after order. Mind on the menu, every page. "Be patient as meals our made to order" if that was the case. How did every single one of our plates, 9 people. Came out cold. Fridge cold it felt like. Half of us didnt touch our food. From steak, to the chicken, to the pork chops.

My mother got food poisoning from her hamburger steak.

170 dollar bill for absolute trash of food and poor service. My grandfather said he will never be back to the restaurant, and it is by far not the restaurant...

Went to the steakhouse today when you walk in the door that seating area right there was full. The other side had a few people on it of course I grabbed my menus I eat there about three times a week with my mom. The young lady behind the cash register which I had her before as a waitress said set anywhere on this side there's one little bitty table. You got to understand I'm a big girl I don't like them itty bitty tables plus I have my purse it's not going to sit next to me I'm not putting it in that floor the table is not that big to even set it on the table Greg's with me he's got an IV bag where in the heck is he going to put it on top of his head. I told him let's just go somewhere else set the menus back down until the lady thank you but not today. Lately I don't know if y'all are short-handed are y'all are very tired or what's going on because I was attitude needs to get a little better before I come back that's all I got to say and the rest of my family I usually bring but it'll be a while and there's...
