Frenchie's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Pembroke Park

I’ve driven by this place so many times a week. It’s only open for Canadian snowbirds. The crowd I’d 99% French Canadian and the only welcoming to their own people. Even if you’re white American they don’t care to service you they would rather you stay away. If you’re black, Hispanic or Arab don’t bother they will treat you like the way they treat the blacks back in the 60’s. They don’t care what you say about them in the reviews they rather serve their own. I stop here just to see what they have to offer and the were t so friendly at the door. They just ignore me and my wife for about 10 mins and realize they don’t want me here. I’m Irish American and my wife is Jamaica American. Didn’t hurt my feelings one bit but after all the negative reviews I wanted to prove it to myself. Simply put if your not French...

Where should I start? The food is too expensive for the quality! Poutine was salty like you eat from a salt box, fries seemed like they were fried the day before and barely any cheese with grav. Pizza ooh..by far the worst from Miami to West Palm Beach...wet bottom burned veggies, over prized... Atmosphere: We didn't feel comfortable, a lot of single men try to fish every women in the restaurant. I would never allow my 23 years old daughter to go there... Service was too slow...nice people but we were waving our hands to get the attention of them. Waste of money.

Music on Friday was OK. But we didn't understand if it is a disco or a restaurant as you can't have people dancing in a small space while eating ...all the dust and their body odor on our noses, a drunk guy keep hitting our nose, nightmare...

ordered a pizza with 3 toppings. they have one on the menu for a pizza similar for $12.50, so I figured it would be around the same price. my roommate picked it up a pizza the size of a dinner plate for $25! When we asked why so much they said I had ordered double extra everything, which I NEVER did, this was obviously a lame attempt of an excuse. he said, feel how heavy it is....if you like it and come back we'll give you a free one. well guess what Frenchy, along with your horrible customer service, we didn't like it and won't be coming back. looks like we'll miss out on that free pizza! this is why people eat corporate and stop supporting family owned businesses. obviously this isn't a hot and ready $5 pizza, but come on, $25?! such a shame....
