The worst pho I’ve ever had. I asked for a regular beef pho like they serve everywhere. I specifically said it should only have beef, rice noodles, and broth. But they brought me some kind of mess with clumped noodles, some weird white fuzzy stuff, disgusting meatballs, and greasy sinews. I asked them to replace it with what I actually ordered, and a minute later they brought the same dish, just pulled out some of that junk — not even completely.
I also ordered the goulash, which was supposed to have normal chunks of beef, but instead I got scraps full of sinew that you literally can’t chew. The rice — I won’t even start. It was cold, crunchy like sand on the teeth because of overcooked ingredients, and with tiny shrimp.
We paid $70 for all that, while in other Vietnamese pho places we’ve had much better dinners for $50 tops and left happy. I strongly do not...
