Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Pembroke Pines

Update: 2/2025- We've tried to love habit since they've opened and really enjoyed the flavor of the charburgers. However, you will notice the cleanliness of their dining area is subpar and an immediate turn off. Today upon walking in I noticed the smell of propane was quite strong. The first words I spoke to the cashier/manager was that I smell strong propane. He acted like he didn't know what propane was. Sir, it's the gas that lights your grill.

I realize I would make no influence over whether or not he understood what propane was so I made my order . As I moved to the ice machine, I see thick, slime and sludge hanging off of the drink and ice area with fungus flies hovering around. I did not get a drink and left it at that.

As I go back to the counter, I see the cook take an already grilled hamburger from a container and place it on the grill she flipped it twice and with the same spatula, she used with meat, scooped out onions from the container next to it to place them on the burger.

This was an already cooked hamburger. It was not fresh.

After those three things combined, I decided to address the manager just once more to tell me about his ice-maker and say that it shouldn't smell like propane, as to which she kind of shrugged his shoulders and said oh. No intent to apologize or address that he would resolve the situation.

I did file a complaint with the health inspector, don't go there. It's disgusting. I was their first customer for the day there was already food all over the floor in the eating area from the night before.

Here I sit with my food in a bag next to me that's gonna get thrown away. No way I'm eating that.

Previous Review: Food taste great but the customer service is atrocious. You are never greeted and always given attitude when ordering. Cashiers act like they couldn’t care less, like they don’t want to be there. I would fire every cashier that works there. For the price, the food is delicious! We ordered online and the order was ready upon arrival. We ordered double cheese burgers only so, that would be the only thing I could review but, overall still yummy! Definitely will be trying out some more food from here 👍👍

Second time here and I ordered at the restaurant a sourdough grilled chicken sandwhich....AMAZING!! It has to be my favorite sandwhich I've ever eaten! The bread was oh so delicious and not sure what's up with the mayo but, it wouldn't have been the same without it!!! Yummmmm 😍😍

Update 6/21/19: Of course, most restaurants in Pines start off great. After returning several times they just can't seem to get any orders correct. I would not recommend online ordering as they cannot read apparently. Ordered a char burger on sourdough and only half the burger had meat on it...they also had added everything that was NOT supposed to be on the burger and had to have it redone. We have ordered a double char burger with and extra patty but they didn't add the extra patty...on another occasion I ordered the chicken sandwich on sourdough and the chicken wasn't cooked all the way. It was rubbery and gross..I had to throw it away...DO NOT EAT HERE!! I'd say Five Guys is MUCH better. They have been slacking so hard here I don't even know what to...

HORRIBLE! Ordered a simple salad from their menu via call center and told no BACON BITS (no pork very important) . Coworker at our medical facility recommended and went to pick it up for me and others. Order came with bacon. I had to go back after I called to pick up my replacement. The lettuce apparently was done wrong the first time so they replaced it without letting me know (prob leftovers) , had added dressing in it instead of on the side like they did with all the salads I ordered that same day because I ordered more than 1! , and once I got back to my office, no blue cheese crumbles like it said it would and salad soggy with pre shredded lettuce used for burgers not salads. Disgusting . Oh and there was a bacon bit in the salad but fortunately I was able to spit it out. Never will I go here again and the entire medical office is boycotting this establishment . DO NOT GO. GO TO BURGERFI OR BURGERKING OR EVEN McDs would be better. They just don't care so why should you eat in a place like that. Shame. My 1st visit and...
