I recently had the pleasure of dining in at this remarkable small business with my family, and I can confidently say that our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Allow me to take you on a journey that started with a somewhat disappointing visit a few months ago, but was brilliantly redeemed during our recent in-person dining experience.

During our initial visit, it was apparent that the place had opened for business not too long ago, and the staff was facing the challenges of handling a large number of customers. The wait time was beyond longer than expected, and the atmosphere was crazy with activity. However, amidst the chaos, I witnessed the exceptional dedication of Mike, the passionate owner. Despite being swamped, he personally ensured our satisfaction and even surprised us with a gift card for a future visit. This gesture left a lasting impression on all of us.

Fast forward to our most recent dining experience, and I must say, it was a complete redemption. The wings served were beyond exceptional, even by the standards of a self-proclaimed "fat boy wing connoisseur" like myself. The flavors were tantalizing, and the wings were cooked to absolute perfection. Little Mike’s is your typical corner pizzeria. However, what makes it unique is its staff and food. We went there last night and at first glance I saw an empty dining room on a Friday night. When I see en empty dining room it usually makes me nervous, but I knew the food was already decent since we’ve picked up pizza before. Michael was our server and made a few suggestions since I didn’t really have my mind set on anything. We ordered the fried ravioli and chicken wings. Let’s start with their garlic rolls which came before the meal..omg.. they are perfection with just the right amount of garlic and oil, both soft and crispy at the same time. The rolls just melt in your mouth as the oil and garlic pools at the corners of your mouth with each bite. You know you should stop, but it tastes just too good.”. Their chicken wings knocked our socks off. Cooked to perfection, tossed in their own sauce and served piping hot. They were crispy and soooo delicious. I’m definitely making them my go-to wings. I dropped what was left of my fried raviolis in the wing coating and it elevated them to another level too. We topped off meal with the fried Oreos which I would normally stay away from fried foods because some restaurants don’t change their oil often enough and you get a weird taste. But not here. Even the fried Oreos were delicious. They reminded me of when we were kids at the fair. I couldn’t find one negative thing to say about this restaurant other than the place was empty inside. However, their take-out was busy the whole time, so I know others are enjoying the food as much as we did. We were ok with having the place to ourselves for now because I know once word gets out it’ll be extremely busy on weekends. Michael was a really great server, knew his menu items, and suggested perfect dishes for us. And really the parting touch of the staff saying “See you tomorrow” as we walked out the door. Definitely a local gem hiding in plain sight. This is the perfect place for an affordable, low key date night or family dinner. Prices are fair and the portion sizes...

Went there today with the wife and kids. There is not one thing that they did not do great.

Garlic Rolls - First garlic roll if ever eaten that has an exterior crunchy crust with a soft interior. None of this excessive raw garlic and parmesan cheese that you see at other establishments. They roast their garlic in olive oil with herbs and layer it over the bread. Fresh, delicious, perfect blend between crunch and airiness.

Forgetaboutit Wings - At most places you get crispy wings that are over done and dry. Not at little Mikes. This had crispy skin and perfectly cooked. Throw the same roasted garlic olive oil that is on the rolls and you have the forgetaboutit wings....Nothing more to say. Had it with a side of blue cheese and tell that aint no Kraft blue cheese. It took the wings to another level.

Fries - The kids love fries with their pizza. Best fries I've ever eaten. You take a bite and you hear the crunch that those tik tok videos have. The difference is you don't need a microphone and sound enhancements to hear it. After you take a bite, the fry melts in your mouth. Don't know how you make fries that melt but they did.

The Pizza - There is nothing that I can say about this pizza. It was truly love at first slice.

Our Server Brooke was great and my 8 year old asked to speak with the owner Mike so he could personally express that he rated the place with a perfect score. Mike came over, we spoke and he is truly a great person. Great Story and we wish him success. We are glad he opened in our neighborhood.
