I visited the store around 9 PM; the store closes at 10:30 PM. I wanted to order honey walnut shrimp, but unfortunately, they were running low. I asked the employee how long I should expect to wait, and she respectfully told me 5-7 minutes. I was ready to wait but then manager overheard our conversation and told the employee that there wouldn't be any more honey walnut shrimp available, which was odd since it wasn't near closing time, and there were still customers coming in and out.
Since I always order honey walnut shrimp, I was unsure what alternative to choose. Meanwhile, the employee had already filled my plate with chow mein and fried rice. In the few seconds while I was deciding, the manager approached the employee again, this time in an annoyed tone, instructing her to tell me to step aside since there were other customers waiting behind me. This is where the issue is, as a customer who is still ordering, why should I step aside so that other customers who came after me can get their food first? It would make sense if the manager had said that I should step aside while waiting for the shrimp, but that wasn't the case.
The manager of this location needs to improve her customer service skills and needs a few lessons of social cues, as she clearly lacks them. I have been a loyal Panda Express customer for years, but after this experience, I will not...

The staff is friendlier than when we first started coming here. It’s much better than the one on Miramar by Kohl’s, that parking lot is cramped and lines get long at lunch. This location is nice enough. We’ve seen better Panda Express restaurants, like the newer on in Lakeland, FL or the hip Panda in Irvine, CA. I like the low carb options: the veggies mix (broccoli , kale, cabbage) instead of rice; beef broccoli; pepper chicken; chicken with string beans are all delicious. They do have a bit of cornstarch in the sauce but no sugar detected. Large portions mean you can make two meals out of it. The passion fruit mango iced tea is sugar free and unique to Panda Express, I think. Bring your own sweetener, they don’t provide any.
This location has someone practical who thinks if they’re going to run low on straws it’s okay to leave an unopened bag of straws by the dispenser. They also leave a roll of trash bags on top of the trash can. They used to run out of iced tea or soy sauce packets...
Read moreUsually love this place for quick Chinese and went yesterday evening and first time I almost felt like walking out. The person that took my order I made it clear from beginning what I wanted and said I wanted two orders with completely different things and in the first one she asked if I wanted double orange chicken when I never even said that. Apparently she wasn’t understanding my order very well and she looked to be bothered. When trying to go over my order with me it was with a major attitude. I can’t remember the ladies name. She had a gap in her front teeth. All I thought to myself is that she’s lucky I’m a nice person cause if I was the opposite I would’ve either just left and eaten somewhere else or would’ve called her out in front of everyone for her shi**y attitude. Don’t think these type of people should be serving food. Hopefully I don’t encounter this employee...
