It was my first time trying Smoothie spot and it was a terrible experience. I waited around 5 minutes before I said something as I was not acknowledged by the staff! I waited over 30 minutes before my order was completed but not without issues. I had to figure out on my own from another customer that I can order on the screen. Then instead of making the order they made orders for customers who arrived and ordered 10 minutes after me. When the young guy at the front finally starts making my order he totally OMITS avocado in the AVOCADO vegan wrap?! He says nothing to me so I ask hey doesn’t it come with avocado and then he tells me “the avocado is really bitter”. Umm okay? So then he offers guac and I say sure. So he unwraps it and also made a mess with the sauce everywhere. It just looked disgusting at this point. Should you not TELL the customer about the availability of ingredients for a wrap you are making??? After that while he’s making my wrap he contaminates his gloves touching multiple other things and then proceeds to go back to making my wrap and placing raw vegetables with dirty gloves on my wrap. If I could give ZERO stars I would. PLEASE HIRE staff that are better trained the young lady and young man today had terrible customer service. I recently visited [Smoothie Spot ] and was blown away by the experience, thanks largely to the fantastic service from Charlie! From the moment we walked in, Charlie was warm, welcoming, and full of energy. He clearly knew the menu inside and out, and his passion for smoothies was contagious.

Charlie helped us navigate the options, offering recommendations based on our taste preferences and even suggesting fun customizations. I decided to try the ["popeye”], which Charlie mentioned was a favorite. It was a perfect blend of freshness and flavor, with just the right balance of sweetness and a hint of zing. My friend went with a berry-based smoothie, and she loved how rich and refreshing it was.

The ingredients tasted so fresh, and you could tell everything was made with high-quality produce. Plus, Charlie’s enthusiasm really added to the experience—he made us feel like we’d chosen the absolute best drinks on the menu. He even followed up to make sure we were enjoying our smoothies, which was such a nice touch.

I’ve been coming to Smoothie Spot in Pembroke Pines since they first opened and used to absolutely love it. Kevin and the original crew were amazing—super friendly, always on point with the orders, and made the place feel welcoming. Since it’s right next to my gym, it became my go-to spot after a workout. Lately though, things have really gone downhill. The new staff just isn’t the same. Some of them don’t seem to know the recipes, and I’ve had a few disappointing orders—like the time I ordered a steak burrito and there was no steak in it. Mistakes happen, but it’s the attitude that’s been the real letdown. The customer service is nowhere near what it used to be. One day I came in for my usual, and the girl with dark hair at the front rudely asked me: “why do you come here so much?” Me and the girls from my gym class were shocked. Shouldn’t you be happy to have a loyal customer? This place still has so much potential, but the staff makes all the difference. These days, I only go in if I see someone I know will get it right.
