Sarah's Sweet & Savory LLC — Restaurant in Pendleton

This is a fun foodie restaurant! We went for breakfast and while they were working out the kinks, the food was outstanding and worth the wait: Breakfast burrito was perfectly grilled, generous with portions, full of flavor and assembled perfectly. A spicy and peppery biscuits and gravy that made me go back for seconds. Thick cinnamon rolls bursting with sweet and cinnamon. This place is a gem!

Update: went back for lunch two weeks later. The Cowgirl burger has a tasty and large patty, fun spicy toppings, and the fries were crispy. It’d be hard to find a better burger around here!

Unfortunately, service was a 45 minute wait. It took 10 minutes just to take our order. To-go orders flood the restaurant, and dining in seems like an afterthought, and we were mostly ignored by the servers.

The staff may be cool, but the burgers need significant improvement if I’m being truly honest. I know, I know, it’s easy to stroke someone’s ego because you like the place and want them to succeed. But they do not compare in any way shape or form to other establishments here in Pendleton on that front, which is sad because it is such a simple item. Burger bun is dry, patty is not seasoned much, disappointingly bland. Im able to taste the burnt inside of the bun stronger than any other seasoning or ingredient. Lastly, the fries were pretty greasy and a bit soggy. Overall below par for this experience, and I hope changes will be made. Because otherwise this place is...

We tried this place for the first time due to its high reviews. The atmosphere was super cute. We ordered biscuits & gravy, farmhouse scramble, and the strawberry cinna waffle stick. I was sadly disappointed in the waffle stick. It was tiny and had hardly any strawberry syrup to flavor it. Definitely not worth $7. The sausage gravy was amazing and flavorful. The farmhouse scramble was heavy on potato and we felt it lacked enough egg and veggies. The sourdough toast was good and came with a small cup of delicious strawberry jelly to dip it in.
