The Stable — Restaurant in Pendleton

My friends and I went to the stable to celebrate her marriage and we were severely age shamed. We are all 22-23 years old and we were told we “weren’t old enough to be in here”. We were bombarded by a staff member who made a huge scene in front of a multitude of people. He carded us in front of everyone saying our ID pictures didn’t match our faces and he thought they were fake. He told us we were too young to be in such serious relationships and judged my friends for having kids. As we were walking out, we overheard some customers talking and saying “why are there 15 year olds in here?” As a lifetime citizen of Pendleton (I have lived in Pendleton my whole life) I can’t believe the rudeness my friends and I experienced here. We attended the reopening ribbon cutting today after their extensive remodel! This place is even more impressive! We have always loved the live music acts here; the stage remodel and addition of audio visual equipment are a huge improvement...The atmosphere feels like a great place to hang out... The Stable will surely return as a great addition to the way of life here in historic downtown Pendleton... Location is close to the downtown shops and is walking distance to Falls Park. The new menu and expanded hours include breakfast and family friendly hours. Think about a beautiful woman you date that is beyond stunning in an evening dress, but when she cooks for you, you absolutely lose your mind with overwhelming delight and propose on the spot! THAT is what you can expect when you come to The Stable! Missy, her husband Steve, Adam and the whole staff will literally overwhelm you with their kindness and attentiveness!
