My girlfriend and her kids and I all ate our meals in the restaurant on Labor Day at around 9pm and decided to all get ice cream cones after we ate our food. We go up to the counter and wait for our ice cream cones for 20-25 minutes and mind you no one in the store even glanced at the counter, or at us during this time. We witnessed a female employee, who I can only assume was leaving at the end of her shift, chatting up the kitchen staff leaning over the counter without the cash registers. My girlfriend tried calling the store from INSIDE the store, if for no other reason than to alert the staff that we hadn't even been acknowledged for a 45 second task, in almost half an hour. The female employee then proceeded to tell my girlfriend "they're short staffed, there's no reason to be calling the store" directly to her face as if this was some act of dominance or heroism, when in fact it came across as incredibly domineering and trashy, not to mention wildly out of line to talk to a customer like that. Finally after probably half an hour someone comes up to give us our ice cream cones and offered us a very slap-in-the-face feeling "sorry about your wait" as if that made it all ok somehow. He also chose not to give us our receipts, nor offer to give them to us, he just immediately crumpled them up and threw them away. I will never return to this location regardless of short staffing, and to that point management should absolutely hire more employees and not cause both employees and customers to suffer due to obvious corporate greed. I will probably never go to any Mcdonalds ever again due to this dystopian...
Read moreI have never had a worse customer service experience in my life!!! I used the mobile app as I have had excellent experiences with it previously. The processes involves ordering on your phone, paying for it and getting an order # to relay to the cashier. Which we did, and the drive thru teller couldn't find the order. Once at the teller window, we showed her our confirmation number and that we were indeed at the correct Mc Donald's. She then told us that we had to pay for it again. Once again we referred to the confirmation screen on the mobile app. She kept shaking her head no, as to say that we were lying and hadn't paid for it, and then called her manger over who in turn told her to give us our order. She did, but not without a condescending "your order isn't here so we gave it to you for free". At which point I stated again that yes, we did pay for it as the order number clearly shows, and once again she had to get one last lick by telling us no, and they "gave" it to us, thus insinuating that we were lying and trying to scam them.
I am disgusted in this situation!!! I have been a loyal Mc Donald's customer for almost 50 years, and to be treated as a liar and thief was horrible, and an unbelievably rotten customer service. McDonald's needs to work on the whole mobile ordering process to avoid this ever happening to...
Read moreVery poor service and times. Lettuce on McChicken I could tell was expired, brownish and slimy. In Drive thru ordered my food and got to the second window where I was told a different amount. I tried to talk to the guy and figure out what I was being charged for. He continued to ignore me and take more orders. I repeated my order for the 3rd time and asked if that is what Im paying for. He nodded and continued his order. So I pay and reach the front and recieve the wrong food. They changed it around and grabbed my order. I then asked for a recipt bc I believe I paid the wrong amount. The manager Matt said Yes, Ill bring your change out if you want to pull forward. Do I did. After waiting for a few min I went in. He gave me my change. Did not say sorry or try to make it right in any way. Get home to find that the Lettuce on my sandwiches are old, brown and slimy. I would like to call them and tell them they have expired lettuce but the customer service I recieved it so horrible Im sure they do not care. I have 10 years of management in the food industry and I would never...
