Prospero’s pizza — Restaurant in Pennsville Township

My husband and I order delivery from Prosperos nearly every week. They are consistently delicious, quick with delivery, and always so friendly. Highly recommend!

Edit: this is a few months after the initial review. I really, REALLY loved Prosperos. They had amazing food and everyone was also so friendly. We always got delivery, never actually went into the place. Slowly over the past few months the accuracy of our orders started to dwindle. My husband would always order a hamburger/fries/drink combo, but they never once brought the included can of soda. I started to just buy extra bottle just because I knew they wouldn't include the one I paid for and half the time, THAT one wasn't included. This was all before coronavirus, because I know many places had suffered because of it, so I am not taking any of those months into consideration. But the quality of the food seemed to decrease. I usually ordered a wrap and after a while, I'd get it and it was almost falling apart, the ingredients hardly wrapped up, so it was basically a salad surrounded by a very loose wrap and the contents strewn all over the fries. We may order from there again, but probably not...

Ordered from here because it has good ratings and we’re looking for good food places to order from in the area… highly disappointed. Food arrived cold, my cheesesteak had hardly any cheese in it at all, was smothered in Mayo and tasted absolutely gross. The grinder literally looked like it had melted plastic on top and had no flavor, roast beef tasted chewy and unappetizing. Fries were over cooked and hard. Only thing that was even edible was the pizza, which was extremely cold when it arrived and was just average honestly. Everything was tasteless, no flavor and just looked so thrown together. Would have been better off ordering from dominos or some regular chain pizza place, and thats sad to say. Spent $75 with tip and delivery included, for that price the food should be delicious and we shouldn’t have any issues let alone the entire order being gross. I will say they did call to double check something on the order and when they arrived, the customer service seemed great but the food is just a huge miss. Good food... Bad customer service. They messed up my order and I called to have it fixed. First she had attitude and said well can't you just take the wrong toppings off? She hung up on me after telling me that she would send another pizza while I was in the middle of asking a question. She gave no instructions to send messed up pizza back. When the corrected pizza came, the driver said he needed the old pizza to give me the new pizza. I called back to ask what to do because we did not have the messed up pizza anymore. She began arguing with me on the phone and said that I should have known they would want the pizza back. Most places will not ask for the messed up food to be returned. The driver got frustrated and handed me the pizza and said he did not care. She continued to be very rude on the phone until she hung up on me mid conversation. We will absolutely not be ordering from them again. Good food is not worth being treated...
